hello..
I've not yet summoned but what i can say is that, the rituals are quite different... there's a lot of conditions that need to be together for you to actually experience the deity
e.g your karma... the actions you have done this or in previous lives
your faith
your aim
your will

Normally some poeple seek blessing and guidance from a GURU who has the power to at least remove some negative aspects on karma and help you achieve your aim in a more efficient way...

there is no LBRP as such.. but you need to cleanse the environment.. there can also be disturbances from other beings and that will try to disturb your initiative and ritual but overall if your will is strong they cant do much... You can have some protection aids also...

You need your yantra and have to recite your mantra acompanied with the relevant fasts etc..

You need not do any banishing... all comes in a rather person to person communication like ritual once you have assembled enough engery by the power words i.e the mantras...

thats what i have learnt till now....

Well, from what tribe are you? A medicine man I know is ojibwa and works with spirits in healings as well as communicating with them. Offering the spirits tobacco and sage is a good way to contact them. Working with your roots is another. Learn about the practices from your tribe. Many of them are essentially the same, but there are very large differences in the details of prayer and magick.

Much native magick is intuitive and earth based. They spoke with animals and the spirits of the earth. It's a potent way of life and I've even incorporated much of the belief into my own practices.

I believe that Sesshoumaru means that he is from India, rather than being Native North American. India has astrology and various forms of alchemy. Summoning deities from Indian mythology is fairly easy I've found. Due to the fact that Indian deities have been continuously worshipped, they are more 'awake' than European pagan deities.

Don't worry. It'll only seem kinky the first time.

According to me the Gods are more "receptive" to the call of the devotees as Hindus pray a lot.. But coming to summoning, IMHO, its very very much complicated unless the GODS really like you.... the only account of people seeing and communicating with the Hindu Gods are those of Sages after years of Penance and prayer/sadhnas...But i'm not saying that Gods are not present for the people.. Miracles are very common in India.. miraculous healings, becoming rich, having special powers( may be from the awakening of the Kundalini). aparitions of God manifestation/angels etc manifestations of apsaras... etc etc. Even me being a Hindu have seen some miracles.. I even witnessed the Milk drinking God statues when i was young.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bigwink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bigwink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bigwink.gif)

Hi, in my first reply, i mentioned that there are No Banishing rituals in the Hindu system... I was Wrong.. Normally before rituals, Holy water is sprinkled around the ritual area..There are also some special prayers to cleanse an area of any negative energies.. there are sacred items that have previously been charged in temples by priests that serve as repelling the evil or any curious spirit that might disturb you... Finally there nothing more powerful that the mantra OM NAMAH SHIVAYA.. This one i have recited thousands of times i think throughout my life in case of emergencies or in case i was terrified at night or any thing else.. Note that SHIVA is the supreme God and also know as Bhootnath which translates as the master of Ghosts/spirits... So his name helps in any situation...

Ah..I see. Sorry for the misconception. I'm afraid that whenever I hear the word indian, I automatically think Native American.

hey friend..There is no need for a banishing ritual for hindu dieties cause there are good natured and come forth to help their "children"..There are certain rituals to be followed though like if you wanna call out chamundeeswari(kalimah) she resides in graveyards so u have to go there draw a protective circle around you and those with you using kunkumum(red ash)while chanting the protective barrier spell of kali(om namo shivaya will also do)so that other entities will not come and harm you and while chanting her mantras to call forth her u must also give her a offering(dont have to be meat)within the circle and she will come and accept it..She and many hindu warrior guardian dieties have a group of semi divine creatures serving them which are neither good nor bad..These female entities are extremely beautiful with long hair and you have to be wary of them cause alot will come to tempt u with their beauty..Careful not to get her angry at you cause she gets angered very fast(kali)..I highly suggest not to do this unless you are real experienced with hindu dieties..

Great. Ya in fact i was mostly talking to banish outside forces or evil ones. Like for instance if you doing a sort of mantra by the side of a river, there might be some unwanted spirits around..Its kool you know stuff on Kali etc.
Prayers and evocations are different. but when even when you try call a diety from the hindu system, the system is such that you call upon a nice and emotional version of the God. What you have in your mind is used by the god to produce a more concrete version for you to communicate with.
Like for instance if you call upon shiva, you will have him as a loving God wit the snake around his neck and his trident by the side and him wearing fur etc. However if you call upon the same God in Sumerian form, you will get a most mighty heavily muscular God red in color with a beard and he comes as Marduk.

Kool to have someone proficient in hinduism. you could teach me some stuff.

Glad to teach you brother..Actually anyone can be a medium because when one is born each and everyone of us is assigned one Guardian diety to themselves who will guide them for life..This original diety u can call forte til u pass on..As ur skills become better u will be able to call forth other dieties in ur body but they will not be permanent..For example the god assigned to me is badrakali(kalis warrior version),,i can call upon hanuman and karupparsamy too but they wont be with me for all time..
