Greetings all Noble Members,

As it is said Kids are more prone to astral senses and stuffs like clairvoyance etc.. I would like to share some bizarre thing i experienced as a kid that recently came to my mind:

I would like to share an experience of mine when i was kid.. I dont believe it was a dream and it was like something that hapenned all day.. I forgot about it but recently i am doing some research on the mariam prophesy and apocalypse and this popped out of my mind.. I dont know if as a kid, the astral senses were much better than now or something of the sort that caused this..

I came out of my house.. as is a village, you can see quite far and a large part of the sky.. At this moment, i saw a large number of parachutes or things resembling parachutes.. They almost overy the sky so many they were .. I cant recall exactly the form or if there was like a fight going on.. I cant recall anything about that.. it was an eclipse moment i think because the sun was hidden by the moon i think during day time.. This caused a grey disc to surround the eclipsed sun and a large part of the sky as well.. I was a bit scared..

I cant say for sure if its real though i dont think its a dream.. In the afternoon when dad came, i asked him about it and i think he said that was not possible and that i might have mistaken some parachutes to lots of them..

If someone know about divination, does this have some sense of could it have been a dream.... Well during that kid period, there are other things that have remained in my mind.. I recall that i once wanted to run very fast.. I practised several times... Sort if kindergarden sports day preparation.. I then recall wishing to be real fast.. I started to run and for a distance of about 30m, i think i did that in 4 steps.. i was like flying.. Note that 30 m for a 5 yrs old is long :-) I tried to repeat that but not possible.. I might have mistaken the number of steps but i am sure i ran real fast...

Second thing that remained in my mind is that one night, when i was asleep, i opened my eyes, I noticed that i was no longer in bed but sleeping on the floor.. Well, i could have been that i fell from bed though i dont recall ever falling from bed even as a kid.. But what surprised me was that my pillow was under my head and my cover was over me .. I was a bit confused and i simply climbed my bed...

Another thing is that sometimes when i lied in bed, i could feel myself becoming lighter and like floating and rising in air but at the same time being like dizzy.. as if it was not linear motion but a bit of disturbed motion... This i know several people can feel when doing astral projections....

Last thing is that I was once dreaming of a man coming to kidnap me and this dream occured to me for quite some years.. In the dreams i always like tried to hide to new places etc but that SOB was able to catch me.. One day I even saw this SOB in real life.. Well i had discussed of this in another post.. :-)

Regards,

Mystick

Kids are the young offspring of a goat.

Children are more prone to experience some bizare phenomenon, because their minds are unfettered, uncluttered and fouled up with the mess of adulthood, religion and politics. If your child has odd experiences and can speak of them lucidly and without hysteria, it might be a good idea to pay attention, as very often, where there is smoke - there is fire.

I can remember as a small child always having this daydream whilst staring out the window in my room.

I remember there was a book on sort of a podium or stand in the middle of this big room.
This book had all the answers to all of the questions of the whole world and life in general. (All knowledge) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/book.gif)
I can remember saying to myself that this just a daydream, how can there be this book right?

Now that I'm older and hopefully wiser now, I go back to that place in my memories. That book I remembered form my childhood.
I can look forward or backwards in time at my life. I can see things that have past and things to come in my lifetime.

I think this guy is cool (IMG:style_emoticons/default/horse.gif)

Hello Mystick,

I too believe kids are able to perceive more than meets the eye.

I recall having vivid dreams during my childhood where I could easily fly, feeling a deep feeling of freedom at the time. Unfortunately, I've never made any "flying dreams" since the last decade. Also, during a dream (or obe?), I remember being able to jump great distances, as if gravity was lesser than Earth’s gravity.

However I certainly recall something I did for real during my childhood. At five or six years old, I went into an abandoned, open pit mine to perform a ritual. The ritual was performed during summer in Rouyn-Noranda, QC, Canada. I don't know why I did it (but I knew the goal) and what I was writing on the wall of the mines, but thinking about it today makes me uncomfortable. Memories of this event are disjointed, but I clearly know I did it.

I have the strong certainty that children are sometimes witnesses of the unknown. Maybe innocence has something to do with this.

thats really true my friends.. Children do have things due to their innocence may be.. I can even say that before the time i first knew swearing and knowing about sex etc..., i felt very different... I now know what they means when sometimes people call kids angels.. I experienced this.... But for my case i did have to suffer the evil doings of lots of SOB.. My country is reputed for evil spells and things of the sort... My country is multicultural and we have people from Africa/india/china.. so along came their black magick too....
Most of the village people over here are are short minded and still live in the 60s and they also do evil rituals of the sort.. lol...Recently i learnt from the local news that a person killed a little gurl of about 5 yrs just to get her nails for a stupid ritual to remove a spell from him....

I also do think that lots of kids are often protected by the angels or Gods themselves.. For my case i have been real lucky several times in my life as a kid even if not always.. I can still remember one day i fell from a good height and i fell face first on a pile of sticks and woods....Some sticks were vertical and pointed up.. Luckily when my face crashed, none pierced my eyes.. Only one pierced above my lip and i know how lucky i was my eyes were intact after seeing how the stick were placed...

When going to preprimary school then you get involved with the outside world and start learning foul words etc etc and its like from this point of life i was becoming stained (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fish1.gif)

If i am not mistaken, when i was less than 4 yrs, i think i could see the aura of people.... I'm not really sure about it but some blurred memories like flashed from head when i read your reply... but i'm sure i did feel my soul or astral body rise from bed several times.. this sensation i know.. But now i dont get these things.. However a little of this sensation comes when i do some meditation stuff.. But i'm still novice in the occult... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bigwink.gif)

Nice thread Mystick! Really enjoy coming to the forums now lol, but yes I do agree that children are more "occultish", basically they have more gifts like described above. Now, some of the gifts that we had as a child could be something we made ourselves to believe we did when we really didn't, but I don't think so in some cases.
Now I have two things I would like to share from my childhood.
#1 Was I had a lucid dream when I was little. I was watching the Flintstones and I fell asleep and woke up in my dream and was actually controlling myself (I used the gazing technique before I knew about it lol) and fighting my teddy bears. I remember that I was really clumsy, but then again I would say that I did because it was my first time controlling myself in the astral (and only time sadly lol)
#2 I could literally wake myself up in my dreams by shaking my head. This could be the thing I was talking about, where I thought I could but really didn't, but I don't think so because I remember a dream I had to where I heard footsteps and shook my head because I didn't want the footsteps to come to me (Didn't want to know what it was lol) and get me. I shook my head and woke myself up, where I don't know how I did and I can't do it today.
Thanks,
~Christopher

Kool experience that you related :-) sometimes when now you cant do these things, as time pass by you tend to think "Was it a dream?" But these things are actually dormant and not gone.. some training might help.. My mentor teached me a moon meditation and once or twice while doing it i could feel the thing i felt when i was like "rising " from my body upwards...

Good thread, very interesting. It does sometime seem as though childhood was spent surrounded by more dimensional awareness than we have now, and the world was very vibrant that way. Our dream new and flexible. I wonder how to raise a child in such a way that it can realize and utilize that potential as the world starts to set in without stripping it of the ability to live in the world. I had a few psychic experiences as a child, but was told to forget about it, that it was all pretending, and I didn't get in touch with it again for years.

What a world it would be...

peace

I know that my son used to talk about before he was born, when he was big. This was when he was 3 or 4 years old. I figured that he was talking about a past life, but now that he is older, he doesn't remember a thing about it.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/hmm.gif) Should your son want to recall past events, can anything be done to kick-start the remembering process?

I think that if your son chooses the spiritual way and then gets his mind more divine oriented, then with meditation and clairvoyance /astral sight techiques, he should be able to reopen the now closed ability of his(seeing past life)... knowing that he could do it in childhood means that he does have a good chance at being successful now with the normal hard work as any other magician/ person doing meditation.

This conversation has sparked up a strange question in me, when your a baby, what do you think? Do you remember your past life, or what? Also, I was wondering if when your younger if your brain may be more open to your body, even though you may not understand certain things or have not learned them. Its just something interesting I thought we could elaborate about.

There is a theory that I believe I read in Donald Michael Kraigs book. As a new born we remember all of our past lives and we actually know what are purpose is in this lifetime here on earth. But, as a newborn well things are kind of hard for us. First, we can't speak or communicate, we need someone to feed us, change our pants and teach us to do every day things including going to the bathroom on our own. By the time we have figured out how to talk go to the bathroom on our own, well, we have forgotten that we remembered all that stuff to begin with. Our minds have been focused on other things, mostly learning to cry when were hungry and need to go to the bathroom (or have just done the aforesaid in our pants.) Also, depending on our house holds religion/beliefs were are taught to forget about all that silly stuff and get on with life. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/baby.gif)

I could believe that babies are extrememly psychic, or even in a state of unmitigated universal awareness, but to say 'remember' past lives would be a bit far... babies have no thoughts. Not one thought at all. The most talented telepath would get nothing but a raw emotional state of being from a baby of less than, say, a year old. Once we learn to think, it's all down hill.

Most developing kids don't have reasoning skills at a young age. If you play peek a boo with an infant, they'll think you're actually gone. However, as a kid I have had several unexplained things happened to me, I wouldn't know if you'd consider them phenomenons. As a kid I use to sleep with some toys; like stuff animals and matchbox cars in my hands, and when I woke up they disappeared. I mean that was the last time I saw them ever. This was on more than one occasion and for a long time I didn't go to sleep with things in my hands.

Despite this, I think it's most interesting that when we think we've develop some reasoning and logic, we still see these unexplained things which defies it.

Personally, I, too, am a firm believer that children are apt to experience bizarre occurences due to their innocence. When I was a child, I used to have all sorts of odd thing happening to me. I was seeing spirits at 2 years of age, actually. I just never stopped seeing them as I grew up.... which is one of the many reasons why I find myself these days on forums like this one. lol!

In the way of sharing experiences, when I was very young, around 5 or 6, I remember my family and I were leaving my grandparent's house just near the end of twilight. I say 'end' because the horizon was still red, but there were a few stars in the sky even though the sky itself wasn't completely black yet. I looked up and saw a symbol in the sky. I remember asking my mom and dad if they could see it, and they could not.

There were a lot of experiences that took place when I was a kid, but I think I'll forgo telling about them for fear of sounding insane. lol! Suffice it to say that I absolutely believe that children are more psychically open. I think people tend to turn it off as they grow up, mostly because we're told to. It's sort of programmed out of us.

When we are children we except what we see without question but when we grow older we tend to conform to society. My abilities saved my life on more than one occasion whilst growing up. One of the most memorable occured when i was about 9. We were living in a war zone at the time. I woke up in the middle of the night and woke my father telling him we had to leave the house. He said i was being stupid and sent me back to bed but i started to run and he followed me. He caught me after about 700 m but we were far enough away to miss the main blast of the missile that struck our house. On another occasion (I was 13 this time ) i thought i was being clever and decided to go cliff climbing without ropes. I fell 12 meters and only broke my wrist, but the strange thing was that the rocks were jagged below where i was climbing and when i landed i was 400 meters to the side in a river bed. I can relate many more and i will always believe in the power of a child.

I agree that as a child you have a lot of power in you.Unfortunately it's raw power you can't control and on most occasions society and religion and politics consider anything that science can't explain , being insane.I guess this fear imposed by society is the greatest barrier we meet while growing up.

However as for sex and bad language we learn while older I think it doesn't taint us it's just there as a temptation and it becomes a powerful obstacle

As a child I remember I loved PC games.I always visioned games I would like to play and soon a company would make them just as I pictured them. Recently a lot has happened and I stopped dreaming.I must remember !!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/badmood.gif)

I remember as a child I would wake up from sleep and have no breathing, and i had a force pushing down on my limbs as if something was holding me there, and i could wiggle my head somewhat and body, but that was about it. It happened constantly, and I even went to my parents about it, but it was one of those "kid things" I suppose. I'm not really sure if it was connected to anything or not.

HMmm , I think I heard about this as a medical condition - I think they're called "Night terrors" , you wake up so abruptly from your sleep you are parilazied from the neck down - but I only think it lasts up to 15 min though - still that's nasty. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/06.gif)

I do remember when I was a small kid, around 4 or 5, I was able to do this odd trick. I would stare and stare at a picture/drawing and then the things in the picture would start moving and I would watch the scene like watching TV. Maybe it was just some eye illusion type thing. I was better at seeing auras and spirits back then. Right now I can't really "see" any more, just sense (heh, that's no less unnerving).
One thing I don't think I will ever forget was when a really big owl flew onto my balcony and stood watching me for a while. I must have been 3, and the bird was GIGANTIC, bigger than I was. I wasn't living in a rural area, there wasn't a forest near me either. I was in New York City, in the middle of Manhattan. Perhaps it escaped from Central Park.
I think kids retain past life memories until a certain age, and then they start forgetting. Ever notice babies have a certain otherworldly look in their eyes until they're around 3 years old? It's like small babies have the intelligence but can't communicate, and when they are older they relinquish the memories and accumulated intelligence for speech capabilities and a 'fresh start.'

Children are blank canvases, if you don't know that it can't happen why would you think it couldn't?

As an only child of about 4-5 I regularly used to move my toys around the room with psychic energy - it was just another game to me. Until I was told that it was impossible and I couldn't do it I did it.

Its the same with my granddaughter. She used regularly to converse with Spirits in and around my house until my daughter told her that she shouldn't and know she doesn't.

Sad really that we are only the preconceptions that others have of us.

I too have an episode to tell. Not that flashy...

My mother told me of an episode wich I don't recall anymore, regarding a vision I had of St. Mary. She recalls me telling her that I saw the saint although she was never mentioned before in my house.

Another weird feeling I had in my younger years (not that I'm old now...) is an image/feeling of myself growing wings, ripping through flesh off my back and spreading them open. I always associated this with a "needed" feeling of liberation, but I now think it may have something to do with a need I have to help others.

I guess it doesn't beat telecynesis, but it is still a non-logic episode for me.

QUOTE(Cris @ Nov 29 2006, 07:37 PM) *
I too have an episode to tell. Not that flashy...

My mother told me of an episode wich I don't recall anymore, regarding a vision I had of St. Mary. She recalls me telling her that I saw the saint although she was never mentioned before in my house.

Another weird feeling I had in my younger years (not that I'm old now...) is an image/feeling of myself growing wings, ripping through flesh off my back and spreading them open. I always associated this with a "needed" feeling of liberation, but I now think it may have something to do with a need I have to help others.

I guess it doesn't beat telecynesis, but it is still a non-logic episode for me.

reading this made me get a sort of chill :-)

and for the telekinesis thing, thats real kool. i sometimes wish i could do that easily.. but i even cant do it with concentration yet.lol

Wow, some of these things sounds real familliar. I have several experinces as a child that were real bizzare for me. Most of them were below five, and real strong between two and three, because I can remember a lot of things at that age. However, I have to be carefull because you are never really sure about those ages. When I was 3 I remember me and mom in a bathroom at a truckstop restraunt in Mississippi where when mom was cleaning out her purse, there was a loud sound and there was a hole in the wall that had a lot of light. I remembered that I had to potty real bad at the time, but I was moving around a lot to 'hold it in' and I had the fear that if I dashed into one of the stalls, then the hole in the wall with the light would be gone. Well, I saw a man too. He came out of the wall, and he was real bright, like he was made of light or something. I didn't feel he was bad in any way, and I seem to have a strong memory of him, yet when I try to focus more on what he looked like, the memory fades. He looked like a man, but I don't think he was. Anyways, mom didn't even see him. I remembered that when he looked in my direction I hid. When I looked back, mom was gone. I wandered in and about that bathroom for a whille, and even aproached that hole in the wall. Everytime I did though, the urge to pee got stronger. But I got brave enough and actucally walked in the hole and there was light. I don't remember anything on the right, but on the left it felt larger. There was also a loud sound of noise. I wanted to explore, but alas, the urge to pee. Anyways, I had to leave the hole, and steped over the pieces of the walll, and I even managed to get out of the bathroom and back in several times. Well, when I fianlly did come back in the last time, there was mom doing what she was doing before the man of light took her, empting her purse in front of the mirror, and she was less angry. Before she was real angry and when the man came, he seemed upset at her. Anyways, when I looked at the wall, it was whole again, nothing broken at all. I was afraid to say anything to mom because I was so little, and even then I had a feeling she wouldnt belive me, and what could I say? I've carried this memory with me my entire life, and never once thought anything amis of it till I turned fifteen and it crossed my mind that it might be impossible. When I confronted mom about the memory, she sounded embarressed and looked pale when she said, and I qoute: 'O MY GOD, YOU REMEMBER THAT?!?' As I am older now, I really question that memory. It's impossible. Nothing could come through a solid wall and then put it back the way it was before (Aka, break and then fix it.) That was a loud Crack or crash to...no one in that restruant seemed to hear it. And then again, I was three. What makes me pause about that memory, was how bad the urge to pee was. Everytime, throughout my life, especially if I am in a place where I am not sopost to be, such as in a section of a book store (New age) that mom knows I shouldnot be in, Even now that her and I live three states apart, I have that urge. Anyways, I have struggled with that memory for years and years, when I was smaller, I just excepted it, and by far that was not the only strange memory I have ever had, but that's the one that really stands out in my memory. I have doubts about it though, and to this day I wonder about the strange man. My Mother thinks he was an angel, I cringe when she says that, because I don't think he was. Anyways, this website is about odd experinces, etc: There is mine then. The truckstop restraunt by the way, was the RedHot...located in my home town of Meridian, Ms.....and I have recently moved back. Redhot is no longer there, only the sign. I know all this sounds odd, but I had to put it down. What I think, is that something did happen, but maybe not as I saw it. And mom remembers something as well. But as for the wall? I don't know, but there it is. Reason I don't talk about it is for fear of someone thinking me nuts, for years I have called this man made of light the 'Golden Man', but when I try to remember, he was neither Golden nor entirely made of light. He just looked...I don't know, like a man, tall, dark eyes...very light hair, shoulder length, curly I think, but the skin was pale, but light? Anymore, and I forget. I think he was wearing jeans, but clothes and more details is hard to remember. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fool.gif)

I notice that whenever I play video games I seem to have OBEs' I would see the game in my mind and feel all strange and tingly and every hit I take in the game results in pain on myself. I am still a child at the age of 12 so would children have more astral experiences than adults? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wallbash.gif)

Absolutely. Children that have not finished school or been exposed to things as the military and collage are not as brainwashed into believing that we are not supposed to be able to read auras and cast spells and on and on. Lucid dreming and obe are natural for children and ive seen the very young in the astral many times. The brainwashing is world wide and the conspiracy is tto keep us from having the power of some secret societies that already rule the world. I truly believe if there were actual schools like hogwarts we would live an a world that is much differant and unable to be lied to. Unfortunatly we are told that its all myth or see them make fun of magic and the occult to no end. And of course if that does not stop you than you have religion to deal with.
For more info on children and these abilities read up or google indigo children. Some believe in the age of Aquarius over 90% are indigos.

It is said that children (the younger the more) are prone to psychic and spiritual experiences because the reincarnated soul has just taken place in the physical and has not "closed" too much from the spiritual realms.

As we all know, living in the physical and having to cope with it can make us forget our magickal/psychic powers and our other spiritual senses (i.e. clairsentience, clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy, etc...). Children have less activity with the physical thus "remember" more of their spiritual abilities. When they are forced to talk, walk, eat, etc... which are all physical, they tend to forget and shut down these spiritual aspects of themselves (subconsciously), as the body, esp. subconsciouis has a way to "blend in" with its mileau (or surroundings).

I believe if we practice spirituality from a young age it would be much better.

Back in the old days schools taught magick/spirituality to children at a very young age, just as they do with walking/talking, etc... In this day of age, mostly due to religious influence, we have forgotten what had existed and what we were capable of in the old days. Of course, having a clue of what happens to use after death wouldn't lustre the power hungry religious leaders now would it?
