I have a question. If people got so good at making psi balls and manipulating the energy of the psi ball, then could the person (later on the road with a lot of practice) make like a kamehameha attack on DBZ? (Dragon Ball Z) I'm sure not everyone knows what that is, so here is what I'm talking about. After practicing the psi ball a while, could someone make a stream of energy with it, to where people would be able to feel and see it? Imagine this from your hands. 0---------- Where the 0 is your body and the lines are the "stream" of energy. Could someone do it like that after a lot of practice? And I wonder the other "fighting" stuff you could do the psi ball! Like Zahaqiel wondered what would happen if you direct your psi to your fist and punch someone with it. I do too. Please share what you think about this. I cannot make psi balls yet, but when I do I would like to try this. (And if your having trouble visualizing what I am talking about, about the stream of energy, look at my avatar.) One last thing. What if you could make a force-field out of your psi against physcic attacks and stuff? Thanks, Chaos_mage

The following I'm about to post may not sound like a psi or related at first, but I think it has some kind of relation that may be usefull to share. I'll try to make this short but I have to tell a bit of background first which "may" help you understand what I'm trying to explain (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I was actively pursuing martial art since I was 14 and was a bit obsessed with it until my early 20's which naturally make me able to do some impressive physical feats with weapons or empty handed. I studied wing chun, karate, taekwondo, muay thai, jeet kune do, wushu, kali, etc until I am able to invent my own style of streetfighting. I am "famous" within my sparring circle for my lightning fast punches and for scoring the largest amount of hits. I simply "drum away" my points. That's my background for the following story. About 6 years ago I was in Bali for holiday with my gf, we went to Time Zone where there's this punching machine. The one with the laughing skull you probably have seen. You put on the glove and punch the pad where it will measure your punching power. Back then, I usually come to Time Zone only to experiment with my punches (sometimes when there's no guard I'll even side kick it lol! My "normal" punches has an average weight of 120 kg. That time, I used a different punching technique I "invented" for my system of rolls of punches. It's a mix method of what I've found to work very well which produces the fastest and most powerful punch a person can deliver in the shortest amount of time. It's similar to Bruce Lee's one inch punch (probably is a version of it). So -without the glove - I simply make a stance in front of the punching machine, take a few seconds to relax, put my punching hand in front and close to my side, control my breathing and then finally "snap" my fist to the pad - in a one single concentrated power of my focused energy from twist of my hip, back, shoulder + mind focus on the target/pad. It's simply like a snap. It's like I gathered in all powers in my body and blast them into that one punch. The distance from my fist to the target is only about 30cm. I don't pull my hand/shoulder backward when I launched it either and my body always in a perfect balance before and after launching it. The result? about 295 kg score for each 3 tries. That's more than double my normal physical punches! So I think when implemented and related into chi ball burst you asked, the key here I think is similar to what I've experimented: a calmed focus, controlled outburst of concentrated power with the "perfect" technique (it took me years of "obsession" to advance my techniques)

I've read up on jing techniques (although not much). It's sort of like condensed ki, and where ki can alter the body's harmonies, jing can physically interact with objects (so you'd get that blast effect you were looking for - only you wouldn't see the attack, but meh).
If you know how to focus ki (similar to Kinjo's story, but individual techniques can vary), then flow ki down your arm while block off the flow at the wrist (bending palm 90 degrees to arm) - basically making your arm a tied off ki-hose. As it fills up, visualise the ki being drawn into the bones of your arm, and then the bones shrinking and compacting the ki. Once you have the condensed ki with enough pressure behind it, release your wrist, and see what happens.

The value of an individual is not numerically assignable. Given the individual's infinite capacity to affect change (for better or for worse), it follows that their value is just as infinite. Logically then, not only are all individuals of equal value, but all possible combinations and groupings of individuals are of equal value, and finally, no matter an individual's past actions, their capacity to affect positive change is not diminished.
The value of the individual is sacrosanct, but actions must be directed in an effort to affect positive change.

I would just like to mention one general point. Whenever you are manipulating your Chi you must exercise caution both for yourself as well as anyone else you are working with. Never end a Chi session without recovering lost Chi and balancing it within your system. Chi travels along pathways though the body just like blood, when you are pooling your Chi or focusing it to a particular location or purpose you must afterwards return it to its original state and location. Physically rubbing the body will help to smooth the Chi back into its original pathways, perhaps ask your partner for a quick back rub, and then give one to your partner in return. It sounds silly, but if you lack the maturity and seriousness to do this then perhaps you should not be trying to manipulate Chi. If you practise alone you can smooth down your own Chi, start with the belly and rub upwards into the chest, then rub downwards to your lower abdomen then continue to your upper thighs and then calfs. Then rub your shoulders down to your finger tips. When you are finished meditate while standing upright with your arms at your sides for 2 minutes. After meditating clap your hands together a few times and your Chi should now be flowing and functioning effectively. Your Chi is part of your life force, so please be careful. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Now having said that all that let me also say: yes! Chi can be used to move people. I've pushed people over without physically touching them. I've even knocked people down to the ground. I've manipulated people while I've been hiding in the bush so that they walk where I direct them ..without them knowing it of course. My instructor almost made a student walk off a cliff once.. he stoped at the last moment. The student said he actually FELT the instructor grab him with Chi and force him to stop walking forward.

Once an ex gf of mine knowing I practiced Tai Chi was kind enough to record a show on the discovery channel in which footage of an older master was taken of him shooting jing with enough power to be seen, he shot it at a statue, which seemed to absorb it. Having studied Chi and Jing, and knowing of the diffrent types of power that have been noted by the tai chi masters (not that I've accomplished any feat of this capacity myself) I believe it was his intention to be non destructive, but it showed me that if nothing else, that manifistation of our Chi to Jing to the power of actual visual manifistation in a single life time is possible. I do firmly believe that as soon as we believe anything to be impossible we inherintly limit ourself. †Christopher Raven†

QUOTE(lpol99 @ Jul 12 2006, 05:14 PM) i know this seems a bit over the top but if some one put enough energy into it would they be able to transform like the dbz people do? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/fie.gif) The question becomes, "What happens to a body that condenses and stores a significant amount of energy, then releases that energy all at once?" You will probably not go super saijin. However, when I am in any sort of confrontation, gathering and projecting that energy is the first thing I do. In the initial practice, my 'classmates' as it were, all experimented with this sort of thing. The presence of the individual suddenly becomes more real, and seems to attract all of one's attention. The extreme level of energy pouring into the atmosphere from the individual can easily warp one's physical perception of them, enough that they look menacing, bigger, sometimes posessed of an unearthly attractiveness depending on the purpose... So, while you may not have a glowing aura of fire, long blonde hair, and a doubled body mass, you can certainly suddenly 'transform' yourself in a similar, but perceptively based, manner. When you encounter a person who's *cough* "Power level" is extremely high, you may find that they easily hold attention. Power is a magnet for the faculty of attention. They may seem somehow incredible for no reason, you simply feel that they must somehow be more than normal. We take for granted the actions which we do that release that energy and deprive us of our own power - nothing overly esoteric or 'magickal' about it in the general sense of the word (Personally I see everything as magick, I'm impressed by atoms...) Usually they consist of fear, doubt, hubris, and lack of compassion... peace

However I do know of a long distance healing technique in which healing energy is compacted into a ball and then sent to the person in need. It might not be the same way exactly that Veegeta or Goku would do it but it is kinda close. I have always liked that cartoon. As for anything like their fighting technique you could actually do that stuff in astral combat. The physical laws of the astral world are much less limiting than they are here.

They have a good guide to work their with...
As for turning Super Saijin I have one such technique that may work, depending on the energy...
*Note!* I AM NOT RESPONCIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES OR FATALITIES THAT THIS MAY OCCURE!!! THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR THE UNCOMMON PRINCIPLE OF "COMMON SENSE"!!!
Required: Knowledge about Kundalini Releases, Psiballs, and Aruas
Kundalini Rage: 1. Create a psiball 2. Focus on the divine energy that is involved in the Kundalini Release 3. Focus on any and all emotions that trigger outburst of power (angry, rage, hate, etc.) and put them in the psi ball... 4. Send the psiball above your head, then down your crown chakra and following down your spine to your Kundalini Reserve (between the anus and the groin) 5. Allow the energies to mix there.. 6. When the energies fully mix, then have the psiball travel up your spine and out of your body... 7. Then, infuse the psiball with the power in your arua... 8. Allow the psiball/ Kundalini Energy to remix with your core energies... 9. Contiune magickal practices...
Be forewarned, the energies in this usually do not mix well, nor do they blend well together... There is a lot of energy in this BUT AS WELL AS ITS SHARE OF HAZORDS!!!
Just be careful guys and gals... And do take care...

Thanks, Chaos_mage Ok my friend, dont get me wrong I think everyone of us has asked or at least pondered this question, yes I think its possible I think ANYTHING is possible....Do I think its likely that humans well be able to do it in our generation? NO. I mean, think of the part of our brain that lets us perform psionic phenomenon like you would a muscle......when you dont use it it loses power and mass...if any of you have ever had a cast on your arm you be able to relate to that...I remember when they took my cast off and I screamed cuz one of my arms were have the size of the other...lol, and that was only after 3 weeks...well now think, if 3 weeks of non usage of a muscle can do that imagine GENERATIONS of non usage, it is a struggle to get a simple thing such as a piece of paper to move or a pencil...but I will not discourage you from trying...shoot, if I ever see you on tv as the true super sayian I'd be pretty happy lol.
