it has been cloudy here for one hell of a long time - with no sun and no moon (well its new right now so thats not so much of a bother) but i'd like to see the sky once in a while

at least we've got power - some of the poor midwest folk haven't had any in two weeks now

ok, fess up - who's messing with the weather?

"woodpecker grid", my old auntie!

something up and methinks it smells political and reeks of pulling something off while our attention is on the weather

could it be...SATAN? (if you didn't watch old saturday night live you probably won't get that)

i think its more like bought and paid-for LHP

I've been trying to get it to snow up here for weeks. All our weather comes in from canada, though. Maybe it's global warming or something, but getting it to snow has been something like being constipated.... it'll get just cold enough, squeeze out a bit, and then give up.

I paid good money for several years of white christmas. I feel as though i've been jipped out of my latitude.

We lost power for a few days. I had to light up the fireplace but it was still cold. so cold... Oh well at least there was a lot of new topics to read in the forum when the power came back. I wouldve liked snow too, but it just rained, then the water froze to the lines and trees and pulled them down. The frozen trees were pretty though...

there's nothing more pretty than the next night after the ice storm when its sooo clear and the moonlight is glinting off every ice covered branch, but its so cold that going outside is just stupid

Yeah and its not fun to pull yourself out of 6 foot deep snow drifts either, especially in the dark. And if there's even a slight breeze it doesn't matter if its sunny or not that wind chill takes a strong affect. At least it hasn't snowed again for awhile but the weather men predict more in the near future.

last night when i went to my window (south-facing) and did my little dance in hell with the dark moon - even the window radiated coldness and i had to grab a blanket! - first time that's happened - now they're saying another that one storm is coming that will put this one to shame!

waaaaaaaaaaah! - i want my sun and moon and sky back!

with the gulf stream acting up (due to a jinn being ordered to do it?) it could get worse

time for a trip somewhere clear-skied and warm
