Greetings Rishi Bhrigu,

Can you recommend a mantra for Shiva to use for that day?

What is a standard sacrifice for Shiva?

Best performed at night or in the day?

Peace!

Salutations Knight of Marduk Edunpanna and Knight of Eyanna Omnamashivaya.

i have written a special seal and attached the picture to this post.this is the seal of the second in cmmand of Lord Shiva and the Lords personal bodyguard of sort.his name is Muni-eswaran..he precides over all of shivas offerings and sacrifices and his seal is best written or engraved in a metal and laid at the sacrificial table.you bring life to the seal by cutting a green lemon in half and squeezing its juices around the seal three times and then dripping three drops into the seal itself chanting om nama shivaya..

The compssionate shiva in his compassinate form doesnt take life sacrifices but you can still offer it and the hordes of shiva will consme them on his behalf and you wil still get his blessings.however alchol is definitely permitted for shiva on this day and it is taken by his worshippers as Soma-the divine drink.im attaching a mantra to be used for him and i personally lke doign offerins next to a water source like a beach where i will create a sivalinga using the sand but that is all under the realms of free play and personal liking.

Om nama shivaya Om nama Shivaya Om nama Shivaya

Om tat phrushaayeh vidmahee mahadehvahya theemahi tannoh rudra prachodayat........

followed by english

Prostration to Lord Shiva

W realize the essence of your great power Mahadeva and may Rudra impel us to do so..

I bow down to the three eyed Lord who is full of sweet fragrance, the nourisher of all human beings, devas and asuras.

May you free me from the bondage of samsara and death.May i be fixed in Immortality by your very side.Om Shiva Shambo..

seal of muni eswaran http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/6978/sivahordesco2.jpg

im sorry i do not knoe how to create a link to the picture if someone an do it i would appreciate it..the address is as above..

Greetings 'Rishi Bhrigu,

Ok stupid question. If that is Friday in India what day does it make it in the Eastern US? Or will it still be Friday here?

Interesting that that shiva has three eyes and Marduk has four.

Peace

Greetings,

Thank you so much for the info Rishi Bhrigu. As a Priest of Marduk I can't wait to perform these dedications. I do have a question though, if I may. The mantras;

Om nama shivaya Om nama Shivaya Om nama Shivaya

Om tat phrushaayeh vidmahee mahadehvahya theemahi tannoh rudra prachodayat........

I am to chant/vibrate them as long as I am meditating or is there a set number of times for each?
And thanks again brother, May Shiva shine his compassion upon you.
Peace,
Nosotro Tehuti.

salutations tehuti.for the basic practicioners i wud say 108 is a good number to perform it.for the advanced practicioner with developed astral senses and those sensitive to currents and auras i would say use the mantra til you feel the vibrations.a point of time wil be reached when your heart is filled with inxplicable peace and happiness, thats when you know the peak of the mantra has been reached.

greetings son.

east will be the best place to face when you are doing rituals for lord shiva as Indra is the guardian of east and he is obedient unto shiva..

the guardian of the west is varuna who controls the oceans and winds, the southern guardian is Yama the lord of justics and death and north belongs to Kubera The god of wealth and prosperity..

P.s on a side note yesterday i happen to find an old and dirty shiva statue at a corner of a antique store and it pained me to no ends seeing the lord's image in a condition like that.he just pulled unto me as he is as much my father as my son.

i immediately bought the statue and proceeded to spent the entire night cleaning it and polishing it and today morning had a small ritual to consecrate him in my altar and to open the eyes of the shiva statue to bring him to life.i would like to share my jy wth all devotees and i have attached the consecated statue of the Lord in this message.Hope someone will help me out by posting the link.God bless..

Greetings,

That is a totally awesome statue!

I will be reciting the mantra in a few minutes. 108 times? I guess I will have to take off my shoes and socks to help keep count. <Joking> (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I have deleted all of the off topic comments that were in this thread.

Peace!

Update I only said it 50 times. I feel that is appropriate for Marduk. I printed out the picture of your statue and put it on my altar before the Agga Mass Ssaratu.

I wonder how Shiva liked a full Nec set up? I felt power surge through me as I recited. I shook Bandars sword in the air and shouted the mantra like I would an exorcism. It felt really nice. I could tell that Shiva was listening.

Greetings,

I took this day not only to offer prayers to Lord Marduk, but also to perform a Blood Oath to His Majesty just as I did for Lord Enki. As I finished scribing my name upon the scroll where the oath was written, the scrying mirror which sits on my altar cracked. I take this as a sign of his acceptance of my Oath.

Two nights before MahaShivaratri, i did a candle for Lord Shiva. And when i continued with my daily salutation of the Trinity of the Necronomicon Elder Gods, When i came to the name of Marduk and visualised him, the candle flame burnt with a loud crack sound. I got chilled and had to open my eyes to see is there was nothing wrong :-) I did feel a sort of energy after that. :-)

And to Brother Nosotro, Damn Bro, you had a fantastic experience. The energy on the night of Mahashivaratri is much much much much much... more powerful than any night. You chose a very good timing to do that blood oath. You should be knowing how much happy i am for you.

OM NAMAH SHIVAYA

Greetings everyone,

Looks like we are setting up a Shiva / Marduk shrine in here.

A blood oath is very Necronomicon in nature. It is interesting the way this blends in. That Shiva indeed answers as Marduk and vice versa.

Here is a pic of my agga mass to Shiva. Behind it is a picture I printed off my pc of Rishi's Idol.

Peace!
