Compare to spells of Simonicon. This is a very powerful spell simular to the mighty incantations of the Mad Arab.

The Mirror of magic

Burt Seigmann

He who forges the image he who enchants.
The spiteful face the evil eye.
The mischievous mouth The mischievous tongue.
The mischievous mouth The mischievous words.
Spirit of the sky remember.
Spirit of the earth remember.

They fall on one lord after another.
They raise the slave above his rank.
They cast the free woman out of the house where she gave birth.
They cast the young girls out of their nests into emptiness.
They drive away the oxen before they drive away the lamb.
The evil cunning demons.
Spirit of the mulge lord of the countries remember.
Spirit of ningelal lady of the countries remember.
Spirit of paku sublime intelligence of mulge remember.
Spirit of en-zuna son of muldge remember.
Spirit tishku lady of the hosts remember.
Spirit of udu king of justice remember.

The book I got this from belongs to a friend. It was published in 1943 I understand that this is the earliest edition. That there were five later editions under different titles etc. which were modified reprints of this book.

I can not find it on Google Amazon.com or Barnes&nobles website. I hear that the book is now peddled as sort of an Encyclopedia of occult. If anyone knows what name this book is now in print under please let me know. I would like to compare the modern text to the original.

Peace!

Ningelal The mistress of earth. Ninkigal spouse of Ninazu?

Mulge The father of En-Zuna. Master of hell. Nergal? Mars?

Muldge A typo????????????? Marduk? Jupiter?

Paku is Mercury Nebo! Its also a domesticated species of piranha.

En-zuna; in the Assyrian Sin, the god of the Moon. Nanna!

Tishku is Venus in Akkadian. Inanna!

Udu (pronounced "oo-doo"), which means "sheep". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lightning.gif) Uddu? Utu? Shammash?

I think this may be a Chaldean spell actually. I got a book where a few Necro incantation/exorcisms are in it but altered slightly. This book was made by a frenchman in the 1800's. I will devulge more details as I look in the book some more. But Im sure many of the Necro spells are in other texts--albeit a bit different.

Greetings
Sure your not talking about Kurt Seligmann and the book has more than one title
the 1948 edition was called "The History of Magic"
The 1968 edition was called "Magic,Supernaturalism, and Religion"
The edition I have what page is this quote on??

Greetings Nebo,

It is in a section titled Sumeria.

I had smoked some train wreck with the old one who's book I jotted this out of. It is possible I got the authors name wrong due to the intensity of that olierbis. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/insane.gif)

I know I got the title right though.

My friend here in NYC who is also a member of this forum saw the book also. He looked it up on the internet and said it had been printed under different titles.

That friend is Marquis Desade of this forum. aka Sagdilli Urbara.

He might not log in that often though to check this thread. I will ask him Thursday when he comes over to smoke some olierbis.

I know that this book seems like a trivial little occult encyclopedia. It has some strange pentacle on the cover which I can not identify. When I copied down the spell my arm surged with power. It was very intense. I am guessing the book has picked up some power over the years. I was surprised!

Peace!

Thanks bro I found it in the first chapter titled Mesopotamia an understanable mistake >
My copy a reprint of 1968 of the 1948 edition but the quote is on pg's 24 and 25.
I very much like the book 'trivial little occult encyclopedia" but it covers lots
"It has some strange pentacle on the cover " mine had a black and arfican symboles on it.

Thank you very much for the info!

I wonder how much the 1948 edition is worth? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/book.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/7.gif)
