I have been reading this forum for several days and it is a wonderful resource for exploring the Necronomicon. My history with the book goes back a ways, I first read it when I was 16 and it was too much for me (lots of strange stuff happened), although it stayed on my mind.

Now, 22 years later, I have returned to the book and yes, I feel called. Two nights ago I did my first work with the spellbook. My initial goal is to familiarize myself with the 50 names, sort of a meet and greet approach. I meditated on the seal of Marduk, and the result was stunning. I immediately felt an energy that was unique, I have never felt such a powerful force so quickly. I spoke to him, he responded in a clear voice. Pretty cool stuff.


Last night I worked with Marukka, it took some time before I felt anything. The energy came on slowly and steadily, and I was drawn in to the point where I had to end the meditation because of physical exhaustion. My dreams last night were, hmm, enjoyable and educational, and at one point I woke up and could feel a very real, non threatening presence hovering above the bed. I guess I should be careful when asking for knowledge, because he poured so much into me I am in a bit of a daze today and in an insufferably good mood.

The power associated with this system stuns me. Thank you for having such a useful resource for it's exploration.

It seems Marukka played a bit of a joke on me. When I asked for knowledge, he loaded me up, now my head is hurting worse as the day goes on. Be careful what you wish for, you might get it, seems to be the lesson. I can smile at that, but dam, my nugget is aching.

i dont think it was a joke. you did not expect to have an enhanced mind with so mch knowledge without improving the currrent state of things and this sometimes lead to headaches but it goes with time. then the next dose you receive, it wont hurt much :-)

Marruka is an awesome spirit. I have had some fantastic visions after invoking him. If you had a headache the next day you should take it as a good sign. I had a crapola abundance of migraines when I first began unlocking the system. I always thought of it as growing pains. After you recover you are a bit stronger. The mind is a muscle. When you use magick you exercise parts of the mind that normally you do not. Resulting in that killer migraine.

Or was is just the tequila? Lol
