Awhile ago (4 Years ago) I was really into Magick...no specific kind, but I was wanting immediate power. I'm sure its what a lot of people my age did...just experiment and get power from doing it. One of my friends' grandmother was really into it, and me and her friend would give each other different "spells" we could do carelessly.
However, as I am now 4 more years older, I am also realizing how dangerous it could have been, and also that there is a lot more to it than just saying some words and having something happen. For the past month I have been finding great sources online for dealing with personal energy. I've been spending this month trying to get to feel my own, but so far no luck. As for right now, I just want to work with my energy. I want to be able to call on it when I want it, to store it in objects, and be able to cast it out.
I am coming here to find out good exercises to be able to feel my own energy and begin practicing to move it about. I can visualize, but when I do...I never actually feel anything.
So, if anybody has posted in some threads in which deal with this, I would greatly appreaciate it if you were to share them with me.
I look forward to spending time on this forum learning as much as I can.
Evocation is calling forth spirits to come to you (outside of your body) so that you can ask something of them (knowledge, money, information, the removal of an annoyance, a car, ect) as opposed to invocation which is the calling of something/force into your body to /lendgive you strength/energy that is for used during a ritual (like calling a godform into you so you can do a rite better; example would be calling anubis when doing a death spell to get rid of your chances of not getting a car).
Also, try and balance out the practice of meditation and breathing excercises with evocation and other spells. Doing them constantly helps on both sides 'cus, no offence, but being able to meditate and control your energy is good, but learning by experience by doing rituals/spells is good too.
I hope you have a great time here and good luck with your training!! (IMG:
