I am wondering what exactly this grimoire is, who wrote it, and where I can get a copy.
Does anyone have a copy and, if so, where can i get one?
Also, does anyone have any experience with this grimoire? If so, what can we expect from it?

The grimoire is a list of spirits from H.P. Lovecraft's mythos with instructions on working with them. The book is listed with an introduction by John Dee and, according to the book's mythos, was a book in his library originally written by the infamous Abd Al-Hazred; though the real author's name escapes me at the moment, it was written in modern times (fairly recently.) You can download a copy from Sacred-Magick's extensive library or you can hunt one down via google or another search engine. I have yet to see a copy in print other than one which appeared to be handwritten and was being sold on ebay (copied from the pdf edition I speculate.)

The best way that I can describe the book is Lovecraftian magick meets Grimoire of Armadel. Over all, the person who put it together did a good job.

Some text from the book's introduction:

"The book attracts many demons to it, even now they will be watching you, invisible. I
urge that you pray that they are gone and banish each time you turn a page, otherwise you
may find yourself overcome by them, which would doubtlessly mean madness and death."

I can't seem to find it in the Library; which one? Forum library or esoteric?

Did anyone work with a supposedly 1586 John Dee edition of Necronomicon? The one that looks like Simon Necronomicon meets chaos magic and Lovecraft.The one with the nine gates.
The book appears to be scanned from a printed book although I never seen that Necronomicon in printed form.

It is here at the Sacred-Magick library, but I think that esoteric might have it as well.

Concerning the other Dee edition, yes I know the one you are talking about but I have never worked with it. While one can certainly argue that Lovecraftian magick is nothing but chaos magick I would strongly disagree, therefore that Dee edition is too steeped in chaos magick for my personal tastes (not the mention the fact that it posits Enlil as being above Enki, something that I am not at all comfortable with) though I may at some point give it a try.

Huh. I've never heard lovecraftian magick referred to as strictly chaos magick before, but I have heard that chaotes utilize it a lot more. I think this is probably because we are comfortable with the changes (the one's you mentioned beforehand) in the psuedo-mythological/religious structure since we don't actually have one ourselves. You cannot break a dogma if you do not have any. Thanx for the info; I'll be sure to look again.
