I was at the bookstore this afternoon, reading a witchcraft manual. The book told a story about a lady who could control traffic lights -- changing them from red to green -- with witchcraft.

Just for kicks, I decided to put my hga up to the challenge. I told her that I would catch only green lights as I drove home. Out of the three traffic lights that I encountered, I blew through two green lights and had to wait half a second for the third to turn from red to green (This is a light that normally has you waiting five MINUTES! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) )





I had my doubts before, but now ...

I do the same thing with walk signals on the streets of NYC.

Sometimes I think it might be a waste of magickal talent, though. I go back and forth on what you should and shouldn't do - not morally, exactly, more like ethically.

But, kudos! First traffic lights, then cars in traffic.

Lol, I've been changing traffic lights sense I was little, its quite simple once you get the hand of it. I've never caused any accidents thankfully.

That sort of smalltime magick working is fun. Like making parking spots. Or anything just minor and easily influenced. Good practice! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/00000042.gif)

Sounds to me like a form of electrokinesis. Hey, you might find this interesting. One time I missed a red light and there was a cop on the other side of the road in front of me. The cop didn't see me skip the red light, because I made the light he could see green. Heh, now that's useful huh? It gave me a little shiver down my spine, when I realized magick could be used this way.

Out of curiosity, what method did you use for the traffic light switchage? I know one option would be the glamour as mentioned somewhere above, but I'm just curious what ways work best for what people.

I try to avoid going into too much detail about my spellcraft (You never know when someone might use it against you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush2.gif) )
