I had a bowl of microwaved spinach and mushrooms, earlier...that might sound disgusting to some people, and not like Christmas food at all, but I was grateful for it. There have been days also where a loaf of bread or maybe some pasta was the only thing I had available as well...sometimes for several days in a row, not just one...but I focused on the fact that having at least that meant that I could survive.

If you are able to get marijuana, be thankful...there will probably be many tonight who would wish for the solace a joint can bring, who will be without it. If you have bread, praise your primary godform for it; where would you be if you did not have even that? If you have clean water, that is also a blessing...there are many in the world who do not.

It may sound cliched, but there is magic in gratitude...it's one of the key things that the film The Secret mentions, actually. Also, now that I think about it, having to go hungry for a day or two certainly doesn't hurt us either...altpath has mentioned that as a possible prerequisite to at least some Goetic workings.

You can see the positive in just about anything if you look for it.

My Christmas dinner (not that it matters much since I don't believe in the Christian faith anyway) consisted of a slice of bread because my mother couldn't afford anything fancier. Not complaining either, our family has the potential to get more if we strive towards it, but we give it away to those who really need it, that would otherwise have nothing. We share what we get so that those who are suffering and really need the food so that we can at least sleep easy, if not full. Happy holidays to those who can have them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I personally enjoy less on the holidays, using it as a time to balance my body and soul.
