I just received the permission in order to be able to write, so.. Welcome to me, also!

Since I haven't slept for maybe more than 24 hours, so I'll be short on this one (and I hope intelligible also).

Two things, first, regarding the watcher; it is supposed to exist in order to protect the physical body.
What if one tries to use the Gates without any assistance of a Watcher?

Secondly, when it says, thrust the sword down to earth, how on earth should I do that in my appartment,
have a pot full of kitty litter or something like that and stick it in?

never to attempt without watcher as lots of entities will be attracted to your physical body itself during gate walk.. and also if you got too much asskicked watcher will remove you from the gate.



fill some soil in the pot for thrustin the sword.

Well, a paradox seems to take place here.

You summon the Watcher in order to protect you while you are IN the circle/gate, in which he cannot enter, nor is supposed anything alse to be able for that. If a danger occurs within the circle, then he won't be able to help you, because he cannot enter the circle, while if something comes from out of the circle.. Well, IT won't be able to enter anyway.

humm. well when you do the gate, you do not stay in a circle. you move in the gate's world itself. your watcher does not come along but he monitors you. he does not come to help you personally in the gate. he will either terminate and bring you out of the gate walk if need. as for things outside the circle, sure none would enter when the watcher there inbetween the circles...

Can one use the four directional gates instead of a circle to summon the watcher?

The double circle of flour is necessary when summoning the watcher, it establishes his parameters of operations. The directional gates are for summoning names, after one has walked those gates. The watcher must be considered a 'physical' being, that is, he is supposed to guard your circle. Using the gates to summon the watcher is like pulling it from four different directions - it doesn't work like that, he doesn't come from any place beyond the directional gates.

Greetings again,

How did you guys manage to create the seals of the planets?
Did you indeed use the materials described within the book
or did you use a substitute material and created a simple
Golden-Dawn style talisman?
