Okay, I was curious as to a chatroom where members from Sacred-Magick could meet up to talk instantly! Unless there is already one, post it here. It would be really nice considering the amount of subforums here and how you would have to wait a day or so for replies and such. I wouldn't care much for an instant messenger if I had friends who practiced with me, or perhaps a teacher. BUT, I would have no clue where to look.. So if there is a magick matchfinder or something (IMG:style_emoticons/default/spoton.gif) that would be nice as well.

There is no Magick matchfinder, I do have to say that I was around your age when I found my teacher. And I had given up looking. I'm not entirely sure what to tell you, but they're out there and don't trust just anyone.

For sure. I have no desire to be initiated in a cult of crazies or be taught by a maniac who thinks he/she is all that because they found 20 bucks on the street. It would be nice though that by some amazing occurrence I met someone around me who went in the undertaking of magickal trial and error, learned from their mistakes and could share their knowledge with a novice. Maybe one day that will happen, but so far my teachers are the authors of the books I read and the posters on this site.

A few years back I seem to recall browsing a site that had a sister dating site just for pagans/wiccans and so forth. I don't know if it still exists. But I'm sure if you google "pagan singles", you'll find something. As far as a chat room... well the coffee shop is about as close to that as this site gets, at presant. But Kinjo may decide to add a chat box at some point. I think the biggest worry about a chat box is spammers. It would be really annoying to set up a box and have new members join and post their crap. Maybe if a chat box is ever installed it'll only be accessible to people with a certain number of posts? Even then moderation on that would need to be constant.

A chat box would definitely be awesome. Spamming is a problem with almost every chatroom, so perhaps making the requirement 10 posts. I say that so I can get in there =P. 10 posts is enough of an ordeal IMO to not want to do it again just in order to spam a box. . Just an idea that goes along with yours (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bigwink.gif)

Books are a great place to start!
