I've just stumbled across the site www.occult-underground.com but I'm unsure whether or not to use it. It says all ebooks on there are believed to be public domain, but says nothing definite. Does anyone have any idea whether or not these are definitely legal to download? I'm very conscious about illegal downloading so I like to be sure before downloading anything!

Well, the website has Bardon texts removed due to copyright concerns, so based on this example, I would say fairly reasonably that all the texts are public domain. From a cursory glance, even the titles of the sidebar organizer looks like they're mostly at least a century old.

I care so much because as a musician I hate the idea of anyone ever illegally downloading my work, and I'm sure writers generally probably feel the same way!
