If you have ever had anyone tell you that you are paranoid or just being histrionic, take the DSM mental health check by clicking on each personality order in turn, answering the quiz questions and then trying out the next.

I think you will breathe a sigh of relief (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif)

Not so stupid. Totally pegged me as a clinical depressive with social anxiety disorder. PS, thats also what the doctor told me.

The DSM is actually a REAL survey that the docs use at times.

Ignorance is bliss for some, though I came out as perfectly normal as I did when I had the real test at the real psycho clinic. I know, boring LOL

Since BDSM is still listed in DSM, I know I'm a certifiable whack-job (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Actually, in my abnormal psych class we covered BDSM. Specifically they said it was only a dissorder if that was the *only* way a person could get off. Well of course they worded it much more proffessioanlly then that, but you get the idea LOL.
Alos, something is onlyl a problem if it interferes with ones ability to work or have a socail life. BDSM doesn't seem to interfere with either of those (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Don't worry though Doc, if you are locked up, I will try to make sure they give you a nice black leather cell <g> Well if they don't lock me up first...
Btw, do you use BDSM with your magic? I have found it to work quite well with evocation, skrying etc. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

My current GF is quite vanilla, so I haven't had the oppourtunity to try that. However, I have considered self-flaggelation, given that exhaustion and/or being pushed to extermes is one manner by which one can attain a gnostic state.

That will work I'm sure. Now trying to keep it up when you hit the altered state might be hard though LOL. I have found that my skryers def have good results with flogging etc. etc. etc.
Any further comments on this topic would probably violate some of the rules for the public forums....

lol

I have the DSM-IV for palm pilot, which means I can check any disorder pretty quickly, but no way of diagnosing them unfortunately.

--------------------
IPB Image

The value of an individual is not numerically assignable. Given the individual's infinite capacity to affect change (for better or for worse), it follows that their value is just as infinite. Logically then, not only are all individuals of equal value, but all possible combinations and groupings of individuals are of equal value, and finally, no matter an individual's past actions, their capacity to affect positive change is not diminished.

The value of the individual is sacrosanct, but actions must be directed in an effort to affect positive change.

†notices the link staring back at him making him feel nervous† (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shok.gif)
Okay!!! †goes to take it† umm... it told me "Notice: This domain name expired on 08/24/05 and is pending renewal or deletion" =(
Oh well...I'll just go with the 'I'm perfectly normal' self diagnosis...†twitches†
