What version of the Lesser Key of solomon should I obtain, I have herd that the Crowley version is not good for some reason, is that true? And also, would a crystal orb serve in the triangle?

Definatly the Joseph Peterson version! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Yes, a cyrstal ball works great in the triangle. My favorite is an obsidian one that I use. A magic mirror also works.

I have read that some of the sigils in that version are poorly copied and in some cases illegible, is this true?

I have the original MS that this book used, and I would not say poorly copied. Illegible, well some are difficult to make out since they are so thick, yet it is still obvious what they are. I think (but am not sure) that Peterson used the images that were actually in the MS, that is what it looks like anyways. Now I am curious and might have to check the MS (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
When I was copying out all of the seals from the Lesser Key, I used Peterson's edition, and was able to copy them all just fine. It is only the Theurgia (the second book) where they are sort of thick and not graet looking.

I like the Mathers one published by Weiser. Very clear edition. It also has a introduction by crowley.

I can't seem to find this one. I went to Amazon.com looking for that author, but nothing...

What is the exact title on this book?

"I won't say the practice can't be dangerous. However, as with anything else that involves risk, it is really a matter of education and experience.

For example, electricians aren't dropping dead by the thousands- even though the forces they work with every day are *extremely* dangerous. Meanwhile, folks who fancy themselves handy with electricty and go playing around with it unawares often get burned badly."
