Yep! Two things:
1. I wish that I'd thought of it first and
2. You're skating on 'one-liner' thin ice! I will not repeat this warning!

In the wonderfulness of arguments, one could theoreticize that you have already done so or that the probabilities have been split to allow this. The trick would be 'piggybacking' the servitor so you could consciously note the journey and the actions of the servitor...

Run with your idea and make notations ...organize a logic tree and see where it takes you...neat stuff! One snag may be here :

say you wanted to travel to a dimension like the phyical world, and you create a servitor with a personality and past from another dimension and programing it with the desire to return to that world or one like, how's this for idea to get into another dimension?

Maybe a further description of what you want to do would help, but here is one of the problems I see.

In order to create a servitor with a personality and past from a different dimension it would seem that you would already need the knowledge and skill to travel to that dimension, which is your goal. The servitor would be created in this dimension and given properties by you (from this dimension). Maybe I can use an analogy.

I want to get a bushel of apples. The only way to obtain these apples is to trade the local vendor a gallon of applesauce. In order to receive the bushel of apples, I need to have a bushel of apples. A classic "Catch-22" situation.

Perhaps you may investigate using an entity that is not self-created (an angelic or "god" archetype) due to the fact that they have knowledge of seperate realities not granted by humans. The process of dimensional travel I feel can only be obtained astrally. This will still give a full and "real" physical experience, but I do not beleive that there is a way to actually transport your physical body into another realm.

Thank you Chaoscrowley37!
I was going to deep-six this thread due to one liner violation after a warning....your post saves it!
I had emphasized 'another' dimension in the original script. Your idea of using an interdimensional entity would thread the needle...though i do disagree with the inability to traverse dimensional boundaries physically. It's an interesting question...an example is when I evoke to full materialization, am I actually opening a physical rift or am I projecting, holographically(like) the body of the summoned from a mental and/or astral link? A question that is still being discussed... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wizard.gif)

PS Cloud Hex, there was nothing 'wrong' with your original idea, rather the snarled way you worded it... Note the italicized red word 'another'? C'mon, think about this!

And I WILL zap your next oneliner!

I think we are confusing what I am saying. The full evocation will allow the entity to be phyically present. Yet your physical body is still in the same location. I do not beleive that the magician himself "physically" enters another plane completely. While doing your evocation the evoked may be physically present yet your body would not completely leave the ritual chamber. Simply put the evoked may move from dimension to dimension but thee evoker does not completely.

.... as i see it now -the only way to travel physicaly to another dimentions is to change your entire body/mind structure to mach that of the desired dimension or world and that would be the first step...
-or perhaps it could be done by means of possession of another being as other entities try in our world (has anyone experimented with that?)
(that all is beyond me -for now)

-i m allways for exploring, experimenting and breaking borders in which we encase ourslves

...you are just a figment of your imagination...

No, I am not confused about what you said. There has been discussion about whether or not demonic (or other) entities possess a physical body. In their own 'world'/dimension do these entities have a physical form? I think that some do! If these entities can move from place/dimension to another than why not us? I think that it was written that any number of saints (etc) were physically transported to either 'hell' or 'heaven'...
What it boils down to in this thread is the belief of what can/does transpire during evocation. I'm fairly positive that we can be 'summoned' with evocation as any other entity is.
This is sliding off-topic due to my expounding on my illustration.
Cloud Hex, would you care to elaborate on your idea with more detail?

I'd be happy to. the basic idea is to travel to dimension where the rules are different in certain ways from our own. to be translated into something that follows that worlds rules. the sevitor would have history in this world, and seek to get to this world by with my help creating a gateway that would allow for us to enter this world, for this to work I first have to define the world enough so the servitor will have something to work with, when this is done the sevitor can finish this itself.
