7,7,7 Options

I have begun to study the proportion that is represented in the mathmatical expressions of 6,6,6 and 7,7,7. I find crowleys books on the matter to be clouded by his penchant for rambling. And in divining what I do know this seems to be a very apparent, proportion even to one who's eyes are untrained. So why are the scare mongering modern religous organizations trying to attribute it to evil. (i.e. 666 is the mark of the beast and 777 is a lucky draw on a slot machine but to gamble is evil. And other than chosing the nature of the Ions in a Sacred circle how can you apply the proportional movement in other areas of life. Like, can you dance better with 666? I do know that there is a direct relationship to the proportion in the Musical Scale. A melody that notes the 6's and 7's as well as the 1's,3's'and5's in all music is more pleasing or "MagiK" and on the Piano specificaly there is a relationship to the layout of the 88 Keys' Whites and Blacks. So I guess what I'm asking is, what's the big deal about 666. Why isn't it taught along with the rest of the "Real Math" in school. why does 1+1=2 and why does 1+1+1=3? Maybe I'm just new but, you don't have to be a mage to realize that your already utilizing these proportions. Even if you have only done something as simple as posting on this forum, If you typed it.

numerology is an observed association between numbers and spiritual function

in ancient hebrew, each letter was given a number so as to make a corfrection key in case of copying or damage

666 - 6=man, 666 = ultimate man = Caesar (the attempted personification of God)
777 - the third and ultimate 'heaven', God's personification

attributions of a particular number to a particular feature vary widely by culture and are very subjective, not cast in stone
