Use of the Calls Options

I have heard of several people using the first two enochian calls in general evocatial practice. I myself have never experemented along these lines. Is this a safe effective use of the calls?

Would you use both or can you just use the first?

Yea I have run across this article and others but they all say something a little different. I have no idea who to trust. Was looking for athena as well.

I have used the language itself for the goetia and other rituals but not the calls. I think it works effectively, but I don't think the calls themselves fit in the original form. The symbolism of the calls just doesn't line up with the goetia. You might want to rewrite them into a conjuration. To be honest I think Latin works best for the goetia it just has that feel to me.

I will send them to anyone who asks, i am a bit reluctant to put them online myself, i don't know what copyrights there are on the cd.

Safe? How could it not be safe? The only danger with Enochian is that it works!

I have used both the First Call and the Second Call in practice, both together, and just the First Call for other workings. I know Ben Rowe has done some research on this and suggests that the First Call should be used in all opporations of a spiritual nature, and the Second Call for workings of a physical nature, creating a kind of polarity of force that can be distruptive when both calls are used together (kind of like your head being pulled in both directions, if you will). However, I use the Second Call when it comes to adding EHNB and his variants, which tends to give the ritual an extra "umph". The First Call alone should suffice, however.
