When I was perhaps 11 or so, I created my first servitor for a pretty reasonable purpose: to sheild my room from the noise of my father and his girlfriend having sex (I don't even want to discuss or elaborate upon that...lol).

I never named him, so I nicknamed him Bob. He lives in my hallway, because this is the only space between my father's room and my own. I created him out of just "assuming" he was there, and I envisioned him in full armor and carrying an axe. Much to my delight, he worked. Well, he worked for a little while.

As time progressed, and my father got rid of his girlfriend, the servitor remained. This isn't because I was lazy, it was because, despite my best attempts, he just wouldn't die. Soon, he dropped his intended appearance and task altogether, and I lost any semblance of control over Bob.

Bob is still around, and he gets stronger everyday. I have seen Bob turn a touch-lamp on and off, I have seen him manifest as an angel-like figure screaming in my face as I exited the bathroom, and he hangs out by the towel cabinet. O joy.

He refuses to appear in daylight, but in darkness he thrives. He will go in my room, he will go in my father's, he lives in the hallway, and he sits on my toilet; even still, he refuses to enter any other part of the home. Only on one or two occasions have I spotted him hanging out on my sister's abandoned bed.

Knight Bob of the Hallway walks behind me while I am in his territory, and he can appear in any form; he likes to look like a demon, and he makes people want to run out of the hallway. My sister (when she is home from college) is scared to death of him.

I don't want Bob dead, because when I am the only one in my home (which is...well...always) he is good people. Perhaps not the most well-mannered, but he gives the house some life.

It really is funny how, when things go wrong, things can really end up right

I just thought I would share...

That's a hell of a funny servitor lol.

How long did it took for you to "really" notice and sense the Bob's presence?

Pretty much a few minutes after I made him, but he grows expotentially. It is ironic, because the farther he strays away from his task, the stronger he gets.

He is a funny guy. Creepy at times, but genuinely funny. Sometimes I see him lean up against the towel cabinet, like he is smoking a cigarette in a parking lot lol. Other times, he peers past the right wall and plays a game of peek-a-boo while I am on the computer; as soon as I sense him, he runs off, but keeps coming back.

That's fantastic! I actually created a being similar to Knight Bob of the Hallway. He was the Guardian of the Circle and would guard a specific place in the basement of my old place. He would not even let me pass unless I flared my aura with a specific etheric energy. When we were in the process of moving, I informed the Guardian of the Circle that we had to leave - we were going to a new place and he needed to come with me to protect the new Circle.

He refused to leave, though. He said he had to stay there to protect that Circle - even though I had dismantled it. I suppose that Circle will always remain as an echo across memory for him and myself. It's sad to think that it may be decades before someone who is magickally inclined moves into that house and finds him. Someone who can talk to him and give him company. I should send him a present.

That's really... bizarre.
Very cool... but very odd.

The value of an individual is not numerically assignable. Given the individual's infinite capacity to affect change (for better or for worse), it follows that their value is just as infinite. Logically then, not only are all individuals of equal value, but all possible combinations and groupings of individuals are of equal value, and finally, no matter an individual's past actions, their capacity to affect positive change is not diminished.

The value of the individual is sacrosanct, but actions must be directed in an effort to affect positive change.

I created one in the same way you did Bob.. actually I didn't exactly know what he was because I was a kid when I created him. I was lonely and he was always my friend, and I sleep with a little doll which is supposed to be his sigil and I love him very much (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Engaged with destiny my life is yours
but you don't know me
we bleed together
like an ever flowing stream
with souls so black oh so empty!
