Some Begginer Questions On Divination, Black Mirror, Skrying, etc Options

Though I still haven't really gotten myself figured out on my path (if anyone is able or willing to guide me, I'd welcome it; on aim i'm smirnoff4capt ). One thing that I know I'm gift at, though, is divination. It's one of those things I've been well-known amongst my friends for. I've never discussed with them how I know these things, just that I do. I don't know to tell you the truth.

The earliest I can remember is in 2nd or 3rd grade the 'flashes' begining. The flashes were very short images of something that might happen. The image- sort of like a movie clip- lasted about half a second, and were seen through a filter. There were three colors: white, red and blue. Blue didn't happen often, but white and red I assumed meant they were good and bad, refering to the things that I was going to see. Recently I had one when I was at work. I saw my boss walking down an aisle through red. I quickly got back to work and three minutes later he came to check up on me. By 'white' for a filter I mean it is sort of blury-white if that makes sense. more of a distortion than a filter I suppose.

I have no control over these flashes (as I've always called them), and I'd like to but I don't know how. I've tried using the Tarot, and while my readings have been extremely accurate [despite having to refer constantly to the book. I use the DruidCraft deck and book] I don't feel that it's actually helping me focus my flashes. I still have them, and I can't decide when or what.

I've thought of skrying, but I don't know how exactly. I've been using my crystal ball, but it's not helped me at all. It's a 4" crystal; very heavy and beautiful. Very clear.

I was reading the Abhorsen Trilogy and when I got to the second book I saw something about using a Dark Mirror for seeing the past. Well.... Obviously that's fiction but I see some use them for divination in real life. They don't have to go into Death to do it, but... Hmm.. that'd be putting my shamanic skills to the test. heh.

So, how can I focus my 'flashes' to better see the fuure? They're very accurate, extremely perhaps, I can't remember five times what I saw didn't happen. I have trouble remembering the first ones when I was real young, so there surely are plenty that didn't, though. Would a dark mirror be useful? Would it be useful to go into Death (just kidding. unless you know something I don't)? Is there a way to focus my Sight so I can See those things I can use to my benefit (or other's?) ?

What I don't like about Tarot and the Runes is the inability to See. I don't doubt the power of them, but when I can See the future, however random and somewhat uselessly, it seems a step backward to rely on something else.

Is there anyone else here who has a similar ability that I could work with?

Also: Again, I really can't beg strongly enough, but I'm trying to find my path, and could desperately use a Guide. I'm drawn to Wicca but some of the Necronomicon and GD things sound interesting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think any spiritual path will be good for you, because you already have a head start with psychic abilities and things will come easier for you. But i'd consider researching different(all) paths and see which path "chooses" you.


Anyhow, i have another question regarding your post(anyone else can answer, as i don't want to make an extra topic out of this question). But how can one develop this psychic skill? is't even possible? How well would it work?

Yes, and no. Fish are designed to swim. Dogs are made to run. Dogs can learn to swim though. Some people have the extra umph when it comes to having psychic abilitie. (But, fish can't run, so lets not run the analogy that way)

I see your trying to faunt what you have with pride...

E'eryone has the ability to become psychic, believe me. One who is born with a little extra doesn't practice, she stays, one born with no extra, practices he/she surpasses that other person. Simple. Though you did not answer my question, thank you for trying.

Can you describe it a little more what you see, this is very interesting to know. You are saying you see through a red / blue or white-ish filter. Can you say what else makes up this portal / window / frame? Place on your head, inside or outside?

Ive just remembered that one of the clairvoyant dreams i had was with a blue filter. In the same boat with you on this, i have no idea either what this could mean.
