A couple of years ago, me and two other magicians used a freshly painted and consecrated Tablet of Air to invoke it's King, Bataivah. After doing intoning the appropriate Keys, etc. we sat down to skry (using the mind's eye rather than a crystal). My vision was that of a male youth suspended in a blue sky. His skin was made of gold. His face was featureless, but was shaped rather like a funnell, coming to a point in the front. The back of his head flared out (again, much like the other end of a funnell) and had an empty space where the back of his head would've been. From this cavity flowed the light of the Sun.

Now, I thought at the time that this vision was pretty cool and entirely appropriate to the nature of Bataivah. However, recently, while doing some reading about Jung's personal life, I came across a description of one of his visions that I thought quite strange. His vision was of a Sun (portrayed as a solar disk) with a large phallus in the center. This solar phallus, it was revealed to him, was the source of the wind. Later, when doing some research, Jung discovered that this image is straight out of Mithraism.

So here's my question. Jung's vision seems pretty much in line with what I saw of Bataivah, especialy in that it related to both Sol and the Air element. Have any of you out there gotten visions of Bataivah? Are they or are they not in line with what I saw? What could a connection between Bataivah and Mithra mean?
