After looking over the forums, and the various ideas, i've found i'm most comfortable with the psychic forums. Further, i've learned the most from this section.

While i hate long posts, i also hate things out of context:

So... I've been practicing making psi-balls. I still need practice, especially in getting them to persist for any amount of time without my direct concentration. I expect that ability will improve as i practice. Forming the Psiball is quite natural, maintaining "programming" and maintaining it without directly concentrating though... that can be quite hard. I was actually introduced to the concept of forming a Psiball around 8 years ago, when my mother was investigating a healing art known as the Healing Touch. I've come to view The Healiong Touch as a branch of Reiki, or, at the very least, a healing art with many parallels. As previously stated, I'm a natural at forming them; when i form them, they feel like small magnetic fields pushing and pulling at my hands. My brother and my mother experience something quite different. This, as well as several other phenomena surrounding my family, has led me to believe that the feel that a person's Psiball takes on may indicate their magical affinities. Of course, what it exactly indicates about a person's inherant abilities, i'm not yet sure. i'm hoping it'll come up in one of the various book i read.

I've been doing alot of reading; Partly as a means to advance my knowledge of Psi balls and such, but also for less practical reasons (general interest). In one of my more curious moments i did a little reading about Telekinesis. Most sources i've read, thus far, indicate that the ability to produce a telekinetic effect is directly tied to a person's belief in their ability to do so. Further, it was suggested in one of the articles i read that your subconscious can act in a manner that is counter productive to your conscious mind's goals when atttempting to produce a telekinetic affect. I found this to be interesting because, in a very practical way, it demonstrated the necessity for the conscious and the subconscious mind to be in harmony. It was then that i realized there may be a different route to manifesting a telekinetic affect: Desire. Exactly why i think it'll work would requrie a greater discourse on my own personal religious beliefs, but it's sufficient to say that i think the subconscious and the conscious mind are the heart and head of antiquity. As such, if you desire to do something with all your heart and mind, you should be able to produce a telekinetic effect. Unfortunately, it's not entirely known exactly how strong or how controlled such a phenomena would be.

My last thought is in regards to some of the simliarities between a psiball and telekinetic effects. The similarities between the two phenomena seems to beg the question of the 2 phenomena being seperate and distinct. Rather, i tend to think that the two methods are merely different ways of manifesting the same thing. Once again, to explain why i think this might be the case would require a lengthy discourse into the nature of my own religious beliefs, but for now, it should be sufficient to say that i believe each method employs a type of faith.

Anyway.... Before i post this... i've been rather reluctant to post up on these boards again. Last time i did, i had the intense feeling of always being watched. It's possible that i'm just a paranoyed SOB, but i would appreciate it if people refrained from Pinging, Assensing, or basically any other mystical means of communicating with me (what ever you wish to call them). A PM will work just fine. As stated i am a neophyte. I'm currently working on my empathic abilities. it have a hard time blocking something out, and an even harder time maintaining a proper shield.
