For starters, how much do you know about spiritual guides/ guardians?

Cool. Xingjian has been populated by caucasians since time immemorial although China claims it now. They use it to imprison and banish their criminals. China has a couple of 'prison provinces'. They do this in part in order to colonize the area with Han race Chinese and increase the strength of their claim. They also force other Han citizens to relocate there for the same reason. The central Chinese government treats Xingjiang natives badly and see them as an inferior race. Nowadays, Xingjiang natives are Moselm, but racially they are most closely related to the Swiss. They often have blue eyes and brown hair. Their facial features are caucasian rather than Han (the name of the main Chinese race). I'm not surprised that the Xingjian people of old would be shamanistic in their beliefs. There are traces of shamanism in other central asian countries. Tibetan Buddhism, for instance has rituals to create Tulpas and channel spirits. It's pretty cool to watch. Of course, the word shaman comes from Siberia in central asia.
