When Magick Goes Flop!, spell dosen't work Options

I cast a spell in the right hour and day of jupiter and used all of the right names and still my spell went flop...What happened??

That's a rather vague request.

You've got to give this stuff time to work. If you just did this spell, say, this past Thursday, it may not be soon enough to see any results. Also, depending on what you're trying to do, your results may vary. Sometimes the results are quite subtle and nuanced, other times they're quite dramatic. And often you don't know which one it's gonna be when you cast the spell, you just have to be alert and observant to realise when the magic kicks in.

Sometimes. It will usually still take some time to manifest.

If this is your first real foray into ritual magic (and it sounds like it so forgive me if I'm wrong), turn it into a RITUAL. As in repeat it once or twice a week at the same time of day for a month, write down what you did, and write down if anything has changed either internally or externally. Usually as you get more practise results will speed up, but you've got to put in the time and do the work. That point can't be stressed enough. Magic is an alternate path to success, although not always an easy one. People forget that. In any case, start paying more attention to your environment and yourself. If you feel the need to change old habits in favour of new ones after doing said ritual a few times, the magic is working, it's just working within you. Go with the changes that come, otherwise you're wasting your time.

[actually the funny thing about this is I can evoke very easily and make awsome talismans. but I don't know how to invoke or cast spells very well. weird huh.

If it flops it isn't rigid enough. Structuralise.

I have failed many times with spell work, but like you, I'm good with talismans. They work extremely well for me.

With spell work, I've found, it's not really as good to go for the planetary hour and day, but rather, follow the astrological signs. For example, if you want to do a spell for love, do it when the moon is in conjunct with a fire sign like aries, leo, or sagittarius. I'm sure various books (like the greater key of solomon, or agrippa's three books) or online sources can explain better all of this, but since we seem to have the same problem, then maybe you should try this. It doesn't matter if the planetary day or hour is correct, as long as you are in the proper sign. Right now, the moon is in conjunct with Aries, so that's good for a love/lust working. Just my opinion.

In my experience, btw, working with the proper sign, and using a spirit seal that you put some effort into (writing on a piece of paper is not good enough) can get me results within a week or two.
