Stolen Shield Options

I was wondering if it is possible for you shield to be stolen by another. About a year ago I was watching television and messing around with psi a little. I happened to end up watching a show called This is Your Day, and they were talking about protecting a temple in Israel with a spiritual barrier. I watched and listened for awhile and the Rabbi, I'm guessing, started speaking Hebrew and then put his hand up and in English said "Your Shield." Instantly I saw a gold/white energy flash in front of me and then my vision faded into the television. Before they started speaking Hebrew on the show they were saying "it is time to remove the veil" and I saw a dark face with glowing red eyes. After it was over I saw the same face, but its eyes were glowing gold/white like what i saw when they said "Your Shield" I was wondering what anybodies take on this is. It probably sounds ridiculous but if my shield was taken is there a way to get it back or do I have to build a new one?

What you saw on the program could have very well induced your visions psychologically. There could obviously be another reason for it, just mentioning that a rational explanation does exist for it so do not panic over the ordeal. A psi shield is nothing more, in its purist form, than energy which has been mentally programmed to serve a function. In this case, to absorb or block negative emotions (energy, spirits, whatever.) While it is possible for someone to drain that energy, one must be very careful of resorting to that line of thinking. Unless you are absolutely sure of it, thinking that some invisible force drained your shield can lead to very fanciful delusions. If your shield is gone, it may have simply dissipated over time. I imagine this to be the most probable reason for its current absence. Recreating it should not be a problem. To insure that it lasts longer or does not get taken, try amassing large amounts of energy (in whatever usual fashion you use when creating your shield) and compress it down into a small orb. Keep doing this until the energy is extremely dense. Use this to fashion your shield and you should not have any more problems, whether from dissipation over time or from other means.

I think an astral spirit fed off the energy of your shield or something, and used the show you were watching as a catalyst to do it. This Is Your Day is run by an Arab Christian evangelist called Benny Hinn (one of many charismatic evangelists), but neither he nor his guests practice psionics, as that would be instantly deemed as "witchcraft." I think that something took advantage of a break in your concentration while your were watching the show and made a meal of your shield by siphoning off energy from it since it was such a quick process. It should be easy enough to build it up again as I seriously doubt aura layers and shields can actually be stolen.

I'm not sure if anything practically would steal shields given that its quite unnecessary seeing that most shield constructs are more of large flashing bulleyes that disrupt the flow in an area and makes the user more apparent than anything. Alright to get to the topic, if I wanted to steal a shield, I would rather simply grab the shield, pick it up and toss it aside. At least that's what one of the entities that works for me now does in its practice, an experiment with an unwary practioner showed that this loophole is too easily exploited as the person piled their supposedly most potent protective layers in place, only to have them literally held up and thrown away. Leaving them vulnerable. But then again, shields themselves can be turned against their user... for example one may use the shield of another to constrict them, implode inwards or something similar. An idea is to add sentience to your own defenses so they're smart enough to know what to do in any situation.
