Now I'm not interested in doing hardcore magick just learning about it, but psionics caught my eye. I pretty sure I can create a psiball, nothing extraordinary probably very weak. I can see a ball shape in my hand(I might be imagining it) that kinda looks like a wave of heat on a summer day. And my hand feels like someone lit a match to it while the rest of my body turns cooler. I have been in the martial arts for many years now, and you can't help but notice chi. Never really tried throwing it(Don't really know how or what it's gonna do.) or tried making a stronger one. Can you just tell me what it will do if I release it, and how to make a stronger one. and If it's possible to make it visible to others?

It will do what you intend it to do, though to what extent depends on the amount of power you give it. You can make them stronger by spending more time pouring energy into it, and learning to condense the energy. It is possible to make them visible to others, by igniting the ball with physical light (an aspect of the fire element), however, it will burn out quickly as light requires a constant supply of energy to exist. A psiball will be visible to anyone with sufficiently developed psychic sight.

A basic psiball, when released, will most likely dissipate. Thrown somewhere without intention, it may get someone attention, or cause a momentary 'mental pause.'

well here's an exercise on how to see if your psyball is strong enough . i got it from (www.psipog.net)

-Make a hot psyball between your palms.
- get a thermometer in front of you!
-Visualize that the ball is beeing thrown hitting the bottom of the thermometer over and over.
- After some tries u should see that the temperature is raising.

This exercise will make your balls stronger and HOTTER!!

Where would this physical light come from. In order to make a psi ball visible, you would have to get it to reflect, refract, or absorb some form of light. You could make a psi ball visible by getting the energy to interfere with or interact with the photons of light already present. It would be a miniature act of PK.

In basic lingo you can pretty much program or concentrate on the energy doing one of the above the functions. The energy or ball itself does not have to be very strong, your goal is to cause a slight to very extreme (depending on the level of manifestation) interference in the light. You can make a basic psi ball and infuse it with the function of bending the light.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) sorry, couldn't resist....

anyway, i often feel a magnetic kind of repulsion, that's in sync with my breathing. It's taken some practice to keep the energy from dissipating on the out-breath. But then i don't really know what to do from there. OK, so i feel it. now what? What are the best ways, and best examples of charging it with intent?

Let me see if I can explain it. I think we are talking about the denser balls that create a psychokinetic affect (having an affect on an object that it is thrown at, a change in temperature in the area around, or messing with light to make it visible.

It is so hard to translate these things into words. *sigh*. Sometimes I hate words. Personally, I don't use balls. I use energy blast and whips. If you want to make it so that it changes the temperature, pretty much make it in a basic way and pretty much use your mind to shape the energy. Ummm... I guess you can pretty much just use what you want it to do to give it a property. For example, in the energy make it so that it displaces heat or kinetic energy around it. I can percieve matter through my energy, if that makes sense, so I can see what affect I am having on the enviorment and it is hard to explain it in words let alone in a way that you will understand.

Maybe a tactile example? You know what cold feels like. You know what hot feels like. Simply instruct your energy to recreate that feel. You do not want to self delude yourself, so keep a thermometer handy. I have people around and measurement equipment around and a camera when I am doing things of that nature. This is so I don't fool myself into thinking that I am doing something when I am not. The affects that you could be feeling could be psychosomatic, natural biological things, or a type of biofeedback. You are triggering your hands to feel a certain feeling, so it is.

Getting a psi ball to do a physical thing is along the boarders of psychokinesis and telekinesis. You can feel an emotion and send it into the energy of the ball. The ball is now charged with that emotion. When creating the construct you can think of an image and send it to the ball. It is imprinted.

There is a type of psi ball called a force ball bubble.

QUOTE
As a small point of trivia, when a semi-solid or solid bubble is shattered, it actually leaves shards of the shell scattered on the ground. They eventually dissolve and dissipate, of course. My experience is that they do so in less than twenty-four hours. I've never been sufficiently bored to just sit around and watch this happen; the shards are simply gone less than a day after they are cast. I've also never kept a functional force bubble intact for more than a minute, that I recall, although practice bubbles are sometimes held longer.

For practice purposes, start small. These are quite energy-intensive, and using large bubbles to learn is exhausting. So, to start with, keep them "softball" size or thereabouts. And, of course, when first learning how to make a force bubble, do it step by step. Short-cuts and speed come after accuracy and effectiveness have been mastered.

First of all, make a psiball, a small spheroid psi construct. It doesn't need to glow or give off heat or do anything else; just a standard, run-of-the-mill psiball.

Once the psiball is nice and steady, hollow it out, moving all its psi to the outer shell. A ping-pong ball, a tennis ball, or something of that sort would make an adequate model for visualization. If you want to solidify it, now would be the time. Likewise, if you feel like adding any flashy special effects such as sparks, colours, and so on, do it now. As I mentioned earlier, such special effects are entirely unnecessary for the bubble itself. However, sometimes they are wanted: for intimidation, as a show-of-force, or simply for their "coolness" factor, "Hey, Mum, look what I can do!"

To turn this shell into a small Shield, program it as you would for any other Shield; with effect, duration, shape, etc. To make it a force bubble, though, you will add a final step to this. The shell must push outward on contact with another object, physical or otherwise. This is where the PK comes in. The idea is to have the shell push harder, according to how much resistance it meets. The harder you push on it, the harder it pushes back. You may overlay the PK on the regular Shield-programming, or you may do it as a separate function. Try both a few times and see which works better for you. Either will work.

Force bubbles, psionic and otherwise, are popular in science fiction and assorted fantasy, so finding an appropriate model for visualization should be fairly simple. There are also some excellent models in real-world science. For example, observe the repulsion between two magnets held together with like poles facing each other. For my own use, I favour an image from a "fanfic" based on an early anime series that happened to rely heavily on forcefields of various kinds. The forcefields in that series were rather ugly, looking like a cross between glass and raspberry Jell-o, with uneven spots that resembled bubbles within the shell itself, which was roughly six inches thick. That particular image, from a specific scene, came to mind when I was in need of a force bubble, so I went with it. Hideously ugly, but effective.
http://psipog.net/art-force-bubbles.html

I can create a type of construct like that, but it is temporary and normally one sided. I can create a shelled force of energy in front of myself to repel a strong breeze. It does not last long, though. It last for a couple of seconds to a minute. The problem is the concentration. When my focus goes, so too does the energy or matter that I am holding onto. That is the reason why psi balls and certain types of shields are my weakest area. I can't create a psi ball that stays for more than a couple of seconds before it goes poof. I can create a "psi force" that can be propelled though in a type of blast.

Psi balls can have their mental counterpart as well. Constructs like that can be extended into larger shields programmed to do such and such with such and such energy. For example, this type of mental input block, therefore, when a certain type of emotion, thought, or mental image or energy is detected, it doesn't go through, while it allows the others.

The basic would be to simply imprint an emotion in it. If you have any type of ESP or can sense energy, later you can introduce the ball to an energy and say block. Make it like you would an ordianry one and focus on sending energy from an emotion.

My introduction into energy work long predates psiballs. I gather that the concept came out of hentai or anime or whatever. It does remind me of the Marvel comic book characters like the human torch. One of my friends told me a few years back that he thought he was close to figuring out how to hurl fireballs from his hands. He's actually my best friend, so naturally I had to give him a hard time about it. I told him that if he figured it out, maybe he could teach me, then we could whip up costumes and be superheroes together. ;-) t is pretty well mandatory that I give him a hard time over it. Most of you are male and understand the Guy Code.

I find that people seem to obsess about psiballs, but to me they are a minor accomplishment and have no practical use. I don't get the interest.

Someone talented in constructs and psychokinesis could do that. You could create a psi ball with a psychokinetic component programmed into energy that bends, warps, and maybe even feeds the fire from let us say a candle. It would be the same way with light (trying to flare a construct or make it visible). You would allow the fire and the heat to be bent. It would be a type of force ball (check previous post) but on the affect that it bends fire, which would be easier than a solid object. Fire is nothing more than super heated gas, heat, and light. Move the particles around and you move the flame. That is why exercises on PK normally normally involve candle flame. You could make the psi ball around the flame and allow the energy or whatever to move it around and fold it into the shape of a ball. My boyfriend can actually do that.

Fire is the easiest thing to manipulate. It is just bunch of super heated gas particles and can be easily manipulated. Electronic things can be manipulated easily because it is basically a field or flow of electrons (and the energy using in such things already has a magnetic property), light can be easily bent (it just a bunch of waves and particles and even heat can bend it), gasses (it is bunch a bunch of particles moving), and liquids can be manipulated easily (they are the same as gasses). However, solids are VERY hard to manipulate because the particles and molecules are more fixed and it takes more energy to overcome alot of things. Just create a psi ball with a psychokinetic component, as in you will move X particles in X location, and you can create a fire ball. It takes alot of precision, though, not alot of energy.

If you have other talens, a psi ball can be very useful. For example, say you are skilled in the area of perception. You can create a construct (more like a manieftation of a thoughtform) that gathers information on certain images, emotions, and data of its enviorment and sends it directly back to you. You can imbue a psi ball with an emotion and/or thought and use that to create a type of projective affect to project your emotions onto another person. You can use them as a type of shield, as mentioned before.

You can use it as a type of decoy. I don't want to recieve Y emotion or energy so you program the psi ball to absorb them and take them away.

Psychokinetically, they can be used as a type of force ball to knock things over or interrupt or affect matter. Your basic psi ball is just a collection of random collected energy but if you combine it with other skills, you can do alot and you can change it. I prefer blast and whips and tentacles to balls.

for me initially psi ball was used to imprint in my mind that energy can be manipulated with conciousness.

But now i use a psi ball that forms around a candle to create a ball of energy that i propel to my watcher as a symbolism for it to aborb the energy from the candle. when i propel the psiball the energy still follows the ball behind like a tail and the watcher gets to continue absorb it. thats the only use i have been making regularly.
