I was just thinking about how the act of believing can affect the energys around us... Do you think that widespread believes like say... Presedent Bush is a Bad Person... can turn fiction in to truth?

The thing is science can only explain thought as a chemical reaction. So there is no concrete answer to give. If you consider string theory than sure your will and my will can make Anything happen. But like walking one must learn by stumbling around like a helpless child. Of course what happens if my will is to take yours and your will is to take mine? Would we just combine? Or both be wiped out? or if we both manage to will oposite manifestations in the same spot and both manifestations ARE complete opposites, what is the result?

I think you have something here though. Its pretty neat idea. People power equals manifestation. One person's will can make something happen as long as there is no greater will to counter it. This is true in mundane activities as well. So the more people you have believing in something the more likely it is to happen. But this is where the strength of people's will comes in. The strength of their convictions. Its possible for one person, one entity, to have a will so strong that it would be virtually impossible to break- "god's" will or the will of any god form.

This also makes me think what if as consous beings we are really a god's children stuck in a play bin (our reality) and our porpose is to develope godling intellect to prepare us for real reality (reality of a god, the god what ever thingy). That thought the very thing it self is god incarnate. My head's starting hurt.

Still if your will is to make bush a bad person that needs to be punished, than your will is mine and both our wills may make another look at bush under a microscope and indite him for starting a war. Well thats pretty idealistic. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/001.gif)

Yes, This reminds me of a post I read a while ago on another forum... Somebody was talking to a spirit of the goetia and it told them that we as humans don't know our own power. I think that the spirit was refering to the fact that we are made by god with god. We get to choose were we go in our lives while we are here on earth. After time things change... beings are apointed new status. I personally plan on being some sort of positive god type image when I die... If I can, and I don't mean in a every one bow down to me kind of way. We are the product of god.. Just as Jesus was. But I like your idea of how we are all babies developing our godling intellect!

thats the paradigm ive been working from for several years now.

though i feel like humanity as a whole is the godling that will someday emerge into 'real reality'.

this is like trying to pierce the veil of Ain via rational discourse, there is no way we can really fathom what 'real reality' is, and i suppose in my case its a matter of believing that no human alone will ever experience 'real reality', but someday we will be living that reality as a whole

and then... what if it aint just humanity, but instead all of the universe as we know it. i mean, we can measure the behavior and such of distant galaxies/stars/quasars whatever, but we really have no conception of how it all works as a whole, and my intuition leads me to believe that everything we think we know about an objective reality is little more than a mass projection. in other words, the galaxies and 'universe' as we know it are also a part of us as a lil godling...
though maybe its pointless to go that far...
if the other galaxies are the other entities and gods, then we are still a little baby looking around and seeing all kinds of life forms but having no concept that we are the same as them. parts of us are trying to make contact though, mystics/shamans/magicians/whatever, but for the most part we are prolly really cute and goofy looking from the perspective of those other entities out there.

wow this stuff is pretty rad to talk about

and whats this about texans now? does me being a texan give me an edge in my magickal workings? i dont see much will power in any of my fellow texans... but perhaps im just projecting that... theres that power of belief again...

If you know G.Bush to be a bad person and a war mongerer , his obvious weakness is his misconception between a good and bad deed . So in knowing this would'nt the guilt trip infused upon him , by sending good , positive energy through prana , telepathic or whatever means , mess him around a bit. SEE!! even the texans agree!

But none the less jest joking. Texans and other people from other states are Americans too and thats final. But I'm a good sport...from Colorado....Oh don't even get me started about my state. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I think I'm just gonna stick to sending that sternly "positive" pranna. On a semi-serious note if I wanted to give Bush a guilt trip I'd mail him stars and strips on behave of every American who has died in the deserts of Iraq. It may be a small amount in comparision to other conflicts but war is war, what is good for? Absolutly nothing....
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/offtopic.gif)

Ok I got my jollies for the day now let me focus..I think I can agree that the godling intellect is deeper that just humanity. Hell space itself as we know it is probably more vast than the deepest quasars. In an already limmitless universe this only adds to the scale. Possibly our galaxies orbit a central point. If thats true whats to so say that there isn't another, or millions of collections of gallaxies full of all else? We as humans seem to be on one of the smallest scales everything else only gets bigger. Perhaps our play bin is strictly here in our solar system as some scientist to think man will never reach the stars. I hope we do but what if we can't at least not with our physical bodies. Our little play area may be limmited to this space. Maybe even as our galaxy. But most likely its just a matter of perception. We percieve a goal to achieve and some where some one will manifest that goal. We may think we are tiny and insignificant but probably like many other races and life in general in outer space we are children in eden. As gods we are just as big as the biggest universe. Though it does seem that humans are reaching a collective mental state what that is may be in the individual already. Maybe all the minds of our ancestors still exists in each of us. That is why we are able to percieve the things we do now because we have their guidence from the past to lead us into the future. Perhaps genetics will help us uncover this connection and let us re-live genetic memory from the past 100,000 years of human existance. What this leads me to believe is that yes a group of people can do more than one yet one is still equal to the many. My will is your will and yours mine. Like neurons in the brain we may be on oposite ends but "electricity" connects us all. Therefor one person can do what a million can, from a philisophical point of view at least. All it would take to surpass the masses is a will greater than their's. The trick is to never forget your connection to the masses.

Take this as an example. Building the pyramids one or a few thought up all that would be needed to build them but it took thousands to complete it. It took the one or few to think it it took the many to do it. I think therefore I am. Hypothetically if I were the pharoe I am a builder of the pyramids as one being though it took many to complete. My will working through the builders and labors made it happen.

I was just thinking about how the act of believing can affect the energys around us

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/e_singer.gif) By principle believing is an energy which can be of both polarities .... positive (optimism) and negative (pessimism) ... basically speaking.

So a belief in an opinion of a person or place - like Bush being a bad person - is bound to effect the energies around us.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/yes2.gif)

What we think, and how we perceive situations/persons ... has a major influence on our thoughts and our directives through life. Our daily lives are shaped by such beliefs ... setting off to work believing it will be a bad day because of a pessimistic waking mood can make the day at work a bad experience ... putting negative polarity in our energy fields which by magnetic attraction will attract like to us.

Equally, we could wake up in a fantastically optimistic mood and breeze into a tricky situation at work ... which we abnormally get through ... because we were thinking positively.

You can create misconceptions in your thoughts which influence your moods ... which permitted to be active long enough will affect the mood of others around us.

You are right. As a reluctant texan (i am getting out of this forsaken chunk of scrubland aslo known as the butthole of america, asap!!) i can say, i hate bush as much as humanly possible. "Will no one rid us of this human hemorroid??!!" But most of the people i see down here are so brainwashed its not even funny. But honestly, i don't think belief will make someone a good or bad person, but perhaps we can use it to get him out of office. Unfortunatly, i'm afraid the next guy will be just as bad. Do you think its fear of the next guy that is keeping him in office?
