Hello I've got a question:
Does anyone know what are the 4 Adorations for and what is the purpose of doing them ?
I've read about them in "modern magic" and tried them but didn't feel any change so please if anyone can answer me.

Like any ritual an effect which is noticiable on the physical plane comes ussually a month or more ( in most cases)
The Sun is the centre of the tree of life, he harmonises all, and is found at the centre of the middle pillar. If you adore
something you become closer too it and then usually more influenced by it. So since your adoring it in all forms the resuly is harmony in oneself, no magnitude to any ifluences, you will also when you practise it for quite a bit feel quite central of the universe, this is why
it is mentioned so closely to lrbp ( lrbp usually brings around the same effect)

The Four Adorations are from Crowley's "Liber Resh vel Helios" The purpose Crowley states is that we stay mindful of the Great Work which we have undertaken to perform and that we may be strengthened in that pursuit. In other words so that we stay mindful of our intent to attain to the Great Work.

That is the main part of it. Crowley spoke at length about the adorations, the saying of will, as well as numerous other practices you can incorporate into your daily life to provide a constant background concentration toward the great work.

Another aspect of the adorations is a mild attunement toward the daily solar tides that are in part elemental. Air from sunrise to noon, fire from noon to sundown, water from sundown to around midnight, and finally earth from midnight to sunrise.
