The Various Elemental Weapons And Other Impliments, Pictures too. Options

I have ran a couple of searches and felt that we needed a thread that kind of shared our experiences with our implements. I was unsatisfied with my original disk of earth so I am now currently restarting that particular item. I used a lathe to turn out my fire wand, and am currently working on my chalice in the same manner. I think that I will paint my implements, then wrap them in black silk until I consecrate them. I aquired raw blades for my air dagger from my grandfather who is actually a sword/knife worker, so that worked out nicely, I created a handle and painted that a long time ago, however I was unsatisfied with that paint job too so I just sanded that down and am fine tuning it now. I am somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to my magical weapons/regalia. For the most part I am working by the patterns laid down in Secrets of a golden dawn temple by the cicero's. I also have my two banners constructed and of course my robe and altar (the first to be created, some three years ago). Hopefully today I will have some pictures up. Feel free to ask about construction of these items, I will help if I can. I am really hoping to hear the various and creative ways that the practicing magicians here have come up with for their tools.

Decided to not make the elemental weapons a while ago... shame really as I was looking forward to it, as I don't have space for my own temple I thought I'd leave it until I've finished my course and make them all then perhaps using the supreme invoking rituals rather than the lesser going from Grade to grade kind of thing.

Had to make a Flyfot cross and found that, ''difficult'' bought the wood and thought to cut it myself but it wasn't easy without a workstation, had to use a handsaw, cuts were slanted, wood too thick to get through. Problem with that particular weapon is that its difficult to have someone make for you, would have been easy to find a local carpenter and have them cut it out but it would have been a tad awkward... anyway... a bolt of lightning struck, the rear of picture frames usually have a thin composite wood used to hold the picture in, went to the local pund store and bought a frame for £5.99 and used that. Made myself laugh though finished making it and covered it on the side of my bed in case someone came in as I went out, left the room and thought, ''better not sit on it or anything'' came back later on and sat on it.

Figure my subconsious was unhappy with the design, was a bit badly drawn.

Yea, pictures will be up as soon as I finish my chalice, Im still lathe'n it out. Anyhow, what I recommend is just printing the lamens in their appropriate colors offline, until you can recreate them, these seems to work fine.
