You Ever Go To Other Websites?, and laugh yourself silly? Options

i tried to go to a few chat rooms today, just for something to do while my friend was here and i had to be vewy qwiet

on one i was flamed and told i could not join them because i use energy feeding and all energy should all be freely given by my 'oversoul' (whatever that is)

and if i didn't leave immediately they'd 'get me' (oh dear)

anyway their shields were radiating a nice lunch lol so i left

i guess i should have used a pseudonym?

are there any cool chat rooms or things populated by intelligent people besides this one?

What the hell did you do to rattle their cages at the other site? Sounds like they didn't want any competition. Did they really say 'get you'??? I've a good mind to.......*sigh*
Lately I've been reduced to playing 'games' with my persona elsewhere to see if I'm ignorred there as well as here... (poor cow syndrome0 *moo* LOL!
The state of affairs is rapidly reducing others to mush, despite all their arcane gobbletigoo. Trollish types move in and slowly reduce the hierarchy to gunk. The people who have actual things to say get frustrated and move on...which does have merit in some cases, except I'm HORRIBLY lazy and more than just a tad insane....oh, well.... Besides, there are younger people out there that deserve a chance to get their feet wet. I may be harsh but I DO care! (soggy, and hard to light...) We're of an age ES, though we do have distinct, sometimes opposing, opinions...but isn't that what it's all about? Who needs syncophants? When I take the time to listen to what's being said, I've LEARNED things here! Huzzah! And I wouldn't change it, at all! Yay!

you mean OF is alive yet again lol? - i'll go see later if anything is happening there - sm is my home and i will only leave feet-first, still its fun every now and then to see how the other (magical) halves are doin - and there are other sites, but they usually are pretty weak and aren't as advanced as sm folk are - it us at our age and level of supposed insanity that make sm rise above the rest of the magical flora

i got some nice emails wanting to chat (mostly younguns) and that will tide me over - our friend, who is very sick, is staying over and i still have to be vewy vewy qwiet - dammit all to hell, i am a bubbling babbling kettle about to explode with all this high vibrational energy and i can't even squeak without being shusshed so that our sick friend can snore, which is why she came here since she couldn't rest at home apparently

i'm trapped inside by a massive pollen count and you just can't stay in potioned sleep forever, which is what i did for monday and part of tuesday and really is what i should do to her so a hurricane wouldn't wake her up, but who knows what the doctors and treatment technicians and god-knows-what gave her and how it might interact, so i'll just stick to the computer and bore you guys to death some more

time to make coffee

Yes I'm a regular member at a couple of other sites. Here there are some more experienced, learned people, and I find that valuable at times. but at another site they are very friendly and have a good energy, and another it is Canadian, so we can discuss Canadian topics. I don't mean that SMF is unfriendly, or has a bad energy, but these things are relative. I know that I would ask questions here rather than any other forum if I needed the answers enough and couldn't get the answer from my 'real life' contacts.
