Reincarnation Prayer Options

I have no idea where this should go if anywhere. I was thinking in an off chance, does anyone know of a prayer to be said over a family member that has passed, possibly in Sanskrit. I guessing it is to ease the person into the new life or guarantee a new life??? My husbands grandmother(before she died) gave this paper to my mother-in-law for me to read over a particular aunt. She died this week but since my mother-in-law considers me to be the spawn of satin (ok she could be close on that) she claims she doesn't know anything about it. I am pretty sure she took care of it herself, still I would like to know about it if anyone has a clue.

To be honest, it would be blasphemous to say that we know. I follow a mix of the traditional Chinese and Hindu perspectives of reincarnation, and from their points of view, Karma is a concept that frankly doesn't care about or individual views of the world, and we're far too narrow minded as individuals to understand it.

I think that best we can ever do for the dead is hope they're someplace better. Hope is pretty potent.

His grandmother once said that when this aunt dies she will be a star. This makes me think it is her last life; it was a difficult and unfair life from what I could see. I guess I will always be a little confused about it but I wish her everything wonderful.
