I've known about it for years but only actually looked into it recently.

I was born under the Red Rhythmic Serpent an the little bio of it's influence is very me,
I didn't know this at the time of changing my avatar btw.

It's early days for my own opinion on the subject, still researching.

It looks an feels very positive so far, has anyone researched it much?
the historical accuracy seems like some pretty compelling evidence.

What impresses me is 'effort' an the Harmonic convergence was a big world wide event in the 80's that seems to tie in with the Mayan calender,
so i expect something, not the end of the world though.

You know, not to sound too new-agey (although I'm on an occult board FGS!), but even if the Mayan calendar predicted the end of the world, it may mean the end of *their* world, what is left of it. As in, the last remnants of their culture disappearing. It reminds me of a very famous remote viewer who kept saying that he couldn't see anything past a certain year, I can't remember which, which caused some people to think the world would end by then. Maybe it "just" means he'll be dead by then.

Very interesting, and although we all see the end of the Mayan calendar differently I believe, as a good handful of others do as well, that when we ascend completely to the 8th dimension this will bring about a new kind of people, a new/different earth.

We will be doing what Atlantis and Lemuria did. It is said that these islands and culture disappeared a very long time ago. Yet they also say we will see them again, that it's very possible in the future. It would make sense in this case that when our universe completes the shift that this is when we will see again. These two places for example did what we are currently doing now, back then. This is the first time an entire planet/solar system/universe has ever completed such a journey.

Collective consciousness.. we all decided to take this route instead of what many might call the end of days. Because this is being done, for those of you who do believe in the multiverse, many eyes are upon our civilization.. our earth.

It is an exciting time and many can feel the shifts and the change in human consciousness. Some are having a very difficult time. Many things are surfacing to be healed and dealt with, like a cleansing in order to complete the cycle and path we have all chosen to follow.

There is so much to say about this I could go on. For those who have heard this the first time I hope it isn't too confusing and once again some do not believe in this. I like to tell others if they don't know much about it to research more about 2012 awakening and the dimensional shifts. You can find things on the web or on youtube. The Mayan calendar is widely misunderstood. I'm more of an Aztec buff, but I've read enough about the Mayans to know that their calendar just starts over in 2012 - there's no "end of the world". As far as I know.

I wouldn't put too much store by it, because many supposed Mayan predictions are fake (they were not too concerned with mundane matters, at least in prophecy)... and don't forget that they failed to predict the collapse of their entire culture.

Hello:

In my opinion there wont be literaly an "end of the world", no more than what has already been with us destroying this planet. Still, maybe the planet as a living being will someday defend itself against us, just like if we where an infection in its body. So the "end of the world" would not be the end of the planet or nature, just of human beings that cant align with natural forces. Still, this is a very literal interpretation. The "end of the world" could also mean a shift in consciouness, the end of the one and only perspective, the born of new ideas wich means the death of old idols. The brake of the Unity of the world and of Identity and the income of multiplicity, plural tought.

But I ask myself something else ¿why do we expect something to happen? Are we so tired of living and so hatefull to this life and to ourselfs in order to have this cathastrophic fantasys? If magick combines desire and beliefe, arent we provoquing an end to happen? And this colective desire to die, proyected in the doomsday movies (sigils) doesnt come from those who are too week to say Yes to this life as it is? Seems to me that the whole idea of the end of the world was constructed in minds that felt self pity of themselfs. They put their hope in the "end of days" because lamenting to be alive and here. They think, "life hurts, lets end it". I believe a more couragous attitud would be closer to Nietzsches tought on eternal return...something like.... dont wish something else, "wish this very instant to repit as it is forever" (this is not a an exact quotation)

Thats to me saying Yes instead of No, loving and not hating things because ugly. I say, we, as femenine souls, lets love the Beast (as a beast, with no expectations) and it will (as a secondary matter) transform into a prince: The Prince of this World. Thoose who want an end will end, and then earth will be free of all the negative nihilists, and then we shall seed and work this world joyfully with creative magick. Oh pale angels quickly go to heaven (nothingness), and leave us deimons (with inner strenght) this world (sustance) for our artistic pleasure! And lets even help the ascention procces of the weak, we want this world only for us, the enthusiastic! ( word wich paradoxly means "with god inside") I must add: the god of the living ones, not the crucified.
