Does anyone else here use a doll or something similar as a familiar?

I'm going to recommend you don't go posting images of the physical base for your familiar. Just a thought.

peace

I agree with Vagrant.

You've most likely ruined that base for your familiar, and good for you if you don't lose contact with it.

A mystic I met keeps several statues of dragons around his home, he turned each one into a spirit. They have many uses and someone might consider them familiars.

I took pottery back in highschool and created several statues umm "gargoyles" I guess you could call them. Affective I must say. I have worked with puppet magick and creating such things for magickal goals. Don't really know what else you want me to say though other than hey I work with that stuff too!

Yes. I couldnt find a spirit that matched my needs, so I wrote out a list of attributes, gave her name and gave her instructions of what she was to do, etc: I put a bit of personal concearns in there and folded the paper tightly, wraped it in saran plastic wrap, then sewed it into a tiny pouch with beads. It doesnt allways have to be a doll. I put it on a string like a neclace and charge or empower it by breath, thoughts, attention itself, and wearing it. There is an invisiable world full of spirits that can grow just waiting to be used for any purpose. the more you pay attention to them, the stronger they become. Your 'Spirit doll', acts as a battery or home for these spirits. Is this what you meant?
