Enochian Experiences, Your Experiences Options

Alright, just list your experiences from the Enochian. Like what angels you evocated, what happened when you evocated them, what did you learn, what happened when you started learning Enochian, what was the first angel you talked to, etc. etc. Just list your experiences from working with Enochian. I don't have any experiences

I don't remember the first Enochian entity that I evoked, it was quite some time ago LOL.
I have found the EE's to be more vivid when skrying then saythe Goetia beings or the Angels from the ToL. With the EE's they also seemed to take up more of the temple then other beings. I have also had funky experiences with physical solar beings that floated around when I did a lot of Enochian. They had a definate feel to them and felt sentient. I have no idea if they were EE's or not, but a friend of mine has also seen similar beings.
When working with the EE's I do it Dee/Kelly style. I place my skrying device on top of my Enochian table of practice with the red/green silk flashing alter cloth, the sigil dei aemeth etc. and intone the Enochian calls or a conjuration I have written. They tend to usually appear quite strongly with or without a skrying mirror. I have had several EE's show up in my dreams to teach me as well, unfortunatly half the time they are speaking in Enochian and I don't have it anywhere near memorized yet LOL.
I have found the EE's work relatively fast when I make specific requests of them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I have also found they are excellent teachers in magic!

Thank you very much Athena!! I always love hearing other peoples' experiences! I am a very new beginner, just started reading about it a week or so ago. Don't know that much, but it was cool hearing of your experience! I wish I knew more about Enochian, but I am always reading!

Thought i should contribute to this discussion about enochian experiences and it's always interesting to read others interpretation of the phenomena.

Generally I use a very simplistic technique in working with Enochian. No circles etc. Usually a candle or even better complete darkness. I just recite the names from the tablets (I should say vibrate, it's more appropriate) and voila. This sort of practice I remember we were discussing it back then 1997-1998 in Enochian-L (mailing list). Pitty that e-mailing list is gone (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fie.gif)

Anyway my experience in the tablets and the first few aethyrs involves some akward things. First of all like it is said they can teach you magick and a lot of things about yourself. I never had a problem with the language they spoke to me on my native language which is greek. The tablet of Air Seniors were not that polite or willing to talk at the time. I m describing events back in 1998. I presume that each tablet is connected in the sense none elemental but it was attributed as elemental due to the lack of understanding of Dee. But this is a big discussion. Their forms in astral plane was formed very well all the times, in the aetherical plane it was very clear some times but sometimes the channeling was mixed with other entities attracted around. Their energy is very strong and each Senior creates according to some friends that we practiced (seperately but in exchanging ideas) a pain in the human body. It is said that they activate a part of your body each. (since I consider the practice more of invocation rather than evocation - evoke in). In some cases, I like to record my experiments there were various sounds written on the tape recorder. In 2 cases music of some sort. In aethyr summoning I experienced partial materialization and sounds (crystal clear).

In all my works with Enochian I experienced a cloud around the room like smoke from cigarette. In some cases you could feel the partial materialization. I corfimed this by working with 7 different people untrained/trained without explaining or trying build up any ideas in their mind.

Well I dont know if all the above sound too much. I was just browsing the web and thought it would be nice to hear what other people think.

My main practice is Enochian.

What do you all think about what some well-known mage's (like Lon Milo Duquette) that say that the enochian entities are useless for mundane help? How would an EE be charged to bring in more money, or love, or get rid of an enemy, for example as opposed to a goetic spirit? I'm interested in finding out how they help some (like Athena) get these kinds of things done, and for others, like Lon, not.

The Enochian beings (and the entire system) can be very self-referential and insular. Dee and Kelly lived like mystics while having their intricate conversations with angels... not medieval magi threatening spirits into obedience. Both forms of CM rely on different attitudes and ways of using magick. A different level of respect is due to Enochian beings, if only because that reinforces the paradigm. With the Goetic system, I think the master/servant approach is implicit...in both systems, the magickian identifies himself (or his authority) with God's, which makes 'mutual respect' between summoner and summoned difficut to imagine, esp in the Goetic rituals. Unless the mage deviates heavily from the text's original intention. Which is normally the way it goes..
