As of 2002 Simon was in Malaysia and is probably still there. He has a book coming out in 2006 concerning the Necronomicon...cant remember the name of it but search on Amazon because you can preorder it from there.

As far as how I know this, I have a "zine" (well two of them) published by the OTO, where a magickian tracked down Simon and interviewed him.

If you don't know his real name you won't have much luck finding him (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

His real name is actually kind of common knowlege. Ask around and you will meet several people who knew him back in the old days in NY. Besides he posted here about his new book a few weeks ago. Why are you looking for him? He tends to be a recluse. I think he likes the image.

You'd be a recluse, too, if you were associated with bringing the Necronomicon to print!

I do not care if the Necronnomicon is the fraud that the critics say it is---simple fact is--it works! Anyways, it is just as credible (if not more!!!) as the Book of the Law. But because it was good ole 666 that wrote that--it is the Bible! I am not saying that Crowley was not an important figure in magickal history, but the Necronomicon critics denounce the Book as a hoax--never examining their beloved Book of the Law. I have read much of Crowleys stuff-he has alot of good information to the would be mage--but it is tainted by his own personal biases as well. The Necronomicon is a good book to bring the Sumerian/Akkadian traditions into the magickal circles of the modern age of 2006! I for one, will use this book and its methods for my Evolution!!

It is very interesting that special thanks are given in the forward to the demon Perdurabo. Perdurabo was Crowley frater name. So was the spirit of Perdurabo the spirit Bak which Slater was in contact with as the foreward says?

Is the Necronomicon fake?

In my humble opinion Hell No!

Zi Dingir Perdurabo Kanpa!
