(NOTE: This ritual employs the names of deities from several different Native American tribes.)

The Shamanic Cross
Stand and face east. Imagine a brilliant white light touching the top of your head. Reach up with the index finger or blade of a dagger to connect with the light and bring it to the forehead.

Touch the forehead and say: "To WAKANDA."
Touch the breast and say: "To MICHAB0."
Touch the right shoulder and say: "To IOSKEHA."
Touch the left shoulder and say: 'To WHOPE."
Clasp the fingers over the breast and say: "And to all the Ancestors, I give thanks."

The Pentagrams
Face east. Use dagger or the index finger of the right hand to trace a large lesser banishing pentagram.
As you do so, vibrate "WABUN."
Go to the south and draw the same pentagram while vibrating: "MANITOU."
Go to the west and draw the same pentagram whle vibrating: "KABUN."
Go to the north and trace the pentagram whle vibrating: "INNUA."

Invocation
Return to the east and stand in the position of the Tau Cross. Say:
"Before me, SILA, of the air. Behind me, AULANERK, ruler of waves.
On my right hand, ABABINILII of the flames.
On my left hand, NOKOMIS, the Grandmother.
For about me are the Four Winds, and upon me shines UTEA."
Repeat the Shamanic Cross as in the beginning.

Greetings!
Kinjo, The thought is nice but these rituals are contrived. Native American shamans never used the Western Esoteric tradition of the Qabbalistic Cross or LBRP. These rituals have some NA Indian words but that's the only connection to shamanism. Newage strikes again! IMHO the NA Indians have their own way of dealing with banishing, etc. It is relatively hard to come across the Indian shamans methods because alot (most) of it was handed down by mouth over the centuries... Greetings

I agree with Bym here .....

Twelve years ago I had the wonderful honour of knowing a Lakota Indian known as Skyhorse ... Grant Downs .... He'd come over to the UK from america as the result of a vision quest. He lived in Hebdon Bridge ....

I partook in an Inipi with him and a Medicine Wheel 'ritual'. He taught me some of his tradition which had all come from word of mouth.

He was a Shaman and let it be known to me how miserable and horrendous the life of a shaman was. It has been something 'bestowed' onto him as a child after a traditional Inipi and the resultant visions after passing out due to the extreme heat in the Inipi tent ...

His knowledge was extensive and awesome ... including tribal tales of contacts with UFO occupants ... but that is another story to tell another time ...

Skyhorse never mentioned any banishing rituals of any type ... I know he accepted evil as a real force ... but would often let the evil force into his own body to overcome it with the strength of his own will ....

Hey! This life is just a dream. As in any dream the sleeper can assume control. Magic is gaining that control and using that awakening to full advantage

Married for life, to my devoted wife, who I have neglected recently but will do no more..........

I also agree with bym, this ritual is one of many new age deformity's.
While it may be useful to some, it clouds the way for future seekers of true shamanism.

I'm also a little dissapointed, because i expected to see a true shamanistic banishin ritual. Got all exited and all...
