my favorites EVER, best books ive come by Options

I have read tons of great books, but the ones i can remember right now are: The alchemist - Paulo Cohello (something similar atleast, brazilian guy).

I really loved that book, it spoke to me, really.

And i really enjoyed the da vinci code and angels and demons (not finished with it yet tho) by Dan Brown.

Oh, and the Discworld series books when it comes to gods, i have found some really interesting thought patterns in those, by Terry Pratchett.

Oak Ash and Thorn is a pretty good book with some very nice guided meditations. The very beginning of the book is actually a true gem where Conway discusses confronting problems and confronting talents along with the balancing of the unseen bodies. I found ACS to be rather poor follow up however. The information in ACS was pretty good, but still somewhat recycled at times. The meditations seemed simply rehashes, the most interesting thing that she talks about is the counting in fives but then fails to elaborate. I've got Crystal Enchantments by Conway and I found it to be pretty useful and insightful.

I've got too many books to attempt to pick a favorite, some of my most useful books come from used book stores and are far out of print. If pressed I guess my favorite book that I own is Teutonic Magic by Gundarsson, it's an awesome book, plus I bought it for ten bucks and it's now worth seventy or eighty.

Elemental encyclopedia of magic and witchcraft, elemental ecyclopedia of 5000 spells, (Thorsons element publications), Crones Book of charms and spells (Very Good), magical shape shifting

Modern Magick by Donald Michael Kraig, Amulets and Superstitions by E.A. Wallis Budge (actually I'm really fond of his writing), I also really liked Familiar Spirits by Donald Tyson. His writings are informative and based moreso on personal experience, also his system for making familiars is unique and logical. His symbols actually resemble what they're supposed to represent. I also liked Enochian Sex Magick by Aleister Crowley.

Other than that, I'm not much of one for fantasy (kinda weird since I'm an artist who draws a lot of fantasy based pictures.) But, I like Sci Fi and Thriller. Relic was one of my favorite books, I read it three times. I also read quazar quazar by Isaac Asimov..very informative. But I'm a little more partial to his science fiction magazine. George Orwell's Animal Farm and anything by C.S. Lewis and Ray Bradbury is great.

Crowley's Book of Thoth (my entrance to the occult world)
Liber Null and Psychonaut (post-modern magic changed my life. I still use variations on these techniques.)
Magick in Theory and Practice (made magic make sense to me in a scientific way)
777 and Other Qabalistic Writings (An occult necessity)
David Allen Hulse's Cube of Space (I am told that there are better writings on the cube of space, but this was a good one for me.)

Those are the ones that changed my life.
