Isn't Ezekiel a form of Ezra?
Doesn't it also relate to the Tarot card The Wheel Of Fortune?
Personally I have always attributed the Chariot and the World to Ezekiel. The first in relation to the (somewhat Kabalistic practice) Merkabah(literally chariot) and the latter to the four cherubim contained in his vision.
I can't really see a way to attribute it to the Wheel of Fortune but there is usually a way to attribute anything to anything so I will leave that to personal opinion.
As far as Ezekiel being a form of Ezra I have to say No, unless you are privy to some info I am not. I am not saying your wrong, just that I cannot back that statement up in my personal opinion.
The 48th name is indeed the "root" of an angels name which may be formed by simply adding "al". I want to say it is attributed to Pisces but I'm sure a google can give you more info. (I am work so I don't have any of my personal notes).
If this were my own situation, I would toy with these ideas.
1. Look deeper into the word itself.
(i.e. calculate it's gematria, look into language besides hebrew or english)
2. Look into the angel and name in the Shem.....
3. Consider creating a talisman of classical form. (in this case I discourage random choas magick)
On the talisman I would consider placing the name(of course) and using the kamea attributed to it to form sigils appropriate to the angel.
Consecrate it and wait.
