Hello, I've recently bought some black salt from a metaphysical shop. I know what it's used for, but not sure how to use it.

Breaks hexes, un-crosses, repells evil forces, and keeps away bad neighbors ^^ but I'm not sure if I'm to throw it all around my house, or what.... so any input would help, I'm new at powders and others salts that aren't table and sea salt.

If you throw it around your house won't it eventually just end up in the vacume cleaner? Then you'd have a magic, curse breaking, bad neighbor repelling vacume cleaner bag. Then one could wear the bag around their neck as a tallisman.

Sorry about that... I would encircle your house with it. Or encircle the perimiter of a room that way at least some of it will end up in the crack going into the wall instead of the vacume cleaner. Oh.. If you use it outside then don't put it on any plants. I will kill them.

I would say, use it in combination with a sigil or symbol.

Example:
Special banishing symbol on paper in center of sheet, with salt poured in a circle around it?

Some of the "traditional" ways to use black salt are if you feel a hex is on you, put it down where you will cross it repeatedly, like at your threshhold, or over your porch steps. If you want to repel the ick neighbors, lay it in a line between your properties as a boundary. If you want just general protection from it, combine it with other ingredients in a mojo bag and either carry the bag with you, or put it in the northwest corner of your home.

I put traditional in quotes because these are generally Southern American Hoodoo, but with Pennsylvania Dutch influences. Use it how it makes sense to you. Think about the properties of salt, when on the ground, when in your mouth, in your body, in water, even chemically, etc. Then think about the properties of black, your feelings, how it reacts with light, when it shows up in nature, etc. Then you can look around and see how others use it and put together the best methods for your own personal use.
