When Silence Speaks

- silence -
leaves fall
birds sing
tears aloof
summer's end
winter solstice
ne'er ending
waves of cold
winds descending
ne'er more
broken home
darkened mood
gloomy room
- silence -

night awoke
baying of wolves
wailing of crows
flurry of snow
endless dreams
candle lights
dinner time
no surprise
another night
- silence -

boughs of trees
flickering with ease
calling on me
time to leave
...another dream?

===============================================================================

We, the Ravens

We roam the night
Invisible we are to all sight
We cease to e'er grieve
With flurry we steal the night
We are the Ravens

The coldness reeks within our souls
We dwell in joy at dark times
Whilst others weep with fear and misery
We fervour with lust as we gloom the night
We are the Ravens

We are the quiet ones
When called by the night
We know the time is right
Nothing dare stops us
We are the Ravens

Invisible-
Beautiful-
We are the Ravens

===============================================================================

Child of Darkness

Alone in the dark prowls a child
He's of the silent breed, gilded with love
Wended by the flickering lure of the night
What of him was fathomless the dark ascribed
He was bound immortal, and fore'er dark
What others shrieked, he embarked
This child, culled of the night's breed
Ne'er with the treachery to leave
Lo! what evil burden could this be?
All the child's misdeeds
Have turned to bliss
Gloom lustres him
Darkness swathes within
And now what more can he sin?
With Darkness and he entwined
No past nor present for his soul's no more
O so cold
A statue with no remorse
Vengence is sweet
'Tis what rouses him to his feet
It lures him to feast
He's become a phantom
Embosomed by Darkness
Whose he to seethe?
In penumbra he nestles
Anew from within
This child has thawed
Darkness and he are the law!

La Mort Timide

Rending asunder
Tromenting
Face sanding
Yet still I stay standing

Why am I not dead?

How must I see?
With eviscerated eyes
How must I hear?
With severed ears
Ruptured heart
Pauper blood

Why am I not dead?

Maledict by the Ancient Gods
Dark ones render me
I feign sickness in bliss
Mother sent me her kiss

Why am I not dead?

Death absconds me
No need to hear
No more to fear
Nothing to feel

Slay me with thy sword
Malign me with thy words
As pensive wolves in throngs -
Ready for my blessings they bow
And thou art bound to frown
As I sacrifice myself and take thine
Thy body is soon mine
Burn me, willingly
I soon stifle thee

Partially in fetid carrion
Gaunt flesh hanging from my bones
Cephalic remains
Scattered brains
Legs torn with no restraints
Still I stand
I glare into thy eyes
With despair you cry
Thy body is mine

Kill me once more
Why am I not dead?
Canst thou not see?
I am thy faith
I spawn thy wraith
Thy wife, thy mate
Thy child, my bait
I'd fain take
In time their turn
Just wait

No more to plead
No more to seethe
No more to weep
No need to eat
No more in need
Eternity!

We, the Creatures of the Night

Always alone we walk
In empty streets we stalk the night
Vigilant to all in sight

No lust nor pleasure 'til blood is shed
We've found our faiths
We've found our love with no rush nor pace
We hiss as we feast with no discrace

As we devour our languid prey
Their minds are with what we play
Our vexing shadows beckon their stay
Their blood is what keeps us in shape

To-night is the first, surely shan't be the last
To steal the flesh and cream from the mortal ones
As we scornfully laugh at their languid daughters and sons
From primeval and ancient dark ages -
We're again to rise, again to please our rage

Our e'er glooming beauty shall lure our next prey
None, filthy sinners nor saints -
Shall be rendered grief nor mercy
For we've been trapped in this world full of hollow lies
With anger not fit for tears in our shallow eyes

I remember the times when alone I roamed the dark streets
Alone I slept and grieved for my needs
Alone I slumbered with forbiddon dreams
No longer am I alone, I now share my own greed

The desire to feast on the meat of these virulent creatures -
So strong no burden nor priest can e'er cease our inner beasts
We O so long for beauty, dwell in joy for blood
Our lissome hearts have forever banished and turned to stone
No love nor pain, for hollowed are our souls

We are unshatterable glass -
We fervour whilst we take thy children
We dwell in satisfaction as another virulent creature -
From thy embedded womb is to be overture to our next victim

Loathsome feeds our minds with joy -
Like children whome play alone with their toys
We munch e'er so blissfuly into thy flesh
Come hither sweet children, smelling ne'er more fresh

Vigilant shadows we are -
We lure thy children into everlasting darkness
Enthralled they are, e'er to cease to leave
Ours they are now, with churning desires to feed -
Feeding on thee, our children, a new breed

As the flickering of light, another you lose
'Tis our turn to play, we've awaited much too long
With flurry we assemble our sabbats
This will be thy last -
Farewell, as the skies gloom with hungry bats

We rise again, ready to fight
We are the creatures of the night

The Necromancer

A man walked votively, in a dark path
Whereto he had centuries ago
In time before time...

Born to mortals, his rebirth unknown
His pauperous deeds lost in history
His future what all called forlorn -
Yet only an eldritch shadow -
Awaiting this fliterer to unfurl
...

He took Darkness' hand
She who engendered him anew
Baptised in a devoid land
Soon to become a mother askew
...

Draped in black, pelted, mortal skin
Of what to him seemed elegant
He followed the path unknown
What were in only dreams -
Soon to be subservients
What were things all shrieked
Soon engaged amour
Like lovers lost -
In this rebirth anew with lust
...

In time he lost his mortality
"A rebirth undone"
'Gainst him all would shun
Lost friends, family, love
In seanse with death he prattled
What morbid demise to him was fun
Those who'd died in ancient battle-
He, with his dark seduction bedazzled
Those who feared, he disdained
In a manner as gods did mundane
...

As his friends prattled about ancient lore
He was in dilemma 'midst gods
As his peers read of errant knights
He battled them in the darkest nights
Soon their prowess clasped -
Like sheep in a hoarse
...

He would stand completely intact
Flawless jades lustred his fingers
Of which privy beldame witches-
Would to him like servents linger
Beggers or fortune givers -
To him not more than crapulous swine
That lovely girl whom with he danced-
Became aloof in pensive caprice
Lured into Darkness' grasp
His heart was fore'er sworn
To his dark mother---fore'er more
...

Not one thing would compare to him
The vampires who all feared -
Would avert to him like doors
The demons which devoured humans
Would scour the path before him -
Like the children he'd spurn
And the ancients soon, in their turn -
...

To what secrets kept untold
He would to all unfurl -
As with vehement rushers for gold
He tresspassed the Seven Gates
Into other worlds he pursued
Slayed the ancients' race
"No mercy" he called their names
The utmost grotesque would swoon
In disturbance of this dark one
As in penumbra nestled the moon!
...

Forgotten language of his own race
Numberless his age
Utterless the mere mage
Spirits beware -
Here comes the dark one
As privy phantoms would glare -
In rows they'd bow, heads first -
To him their souls, quench his thirst
...

Bequentance to none
A god he became in time
Eternity was just another game
To what with him ancients played
Like as with the mere toys -
Of which with children engage
...

He took the lonely path
The darkest path
The path of the dead

...

Explanation:

When Silence Speaks: Meant to gloom ones mood into feeling as if he/she is living in a quiet and lonely town, along with nature, and only nature. It can actually help some people with their magickal practices if they're not in the perfect state of mind and need a guide.

We, the Ravens: I guess you could say this could play a role with druidry. I've seen ravens and e'en tried speaking with them, they're very wise and emotional creatures with quite pride if anyone has noticed. In this poem I descise as a raven myself and faunt my pride and pleasure.

Child of Darkness: About a child who is misunderstood and lost all his life until he finds darkness(like a mother) which guides him and he finally finds himself through this.

La Mort Timide: In French, meaning "the shy death" is literally about eternity and what can be the pros and cons of it(of course i've mostly stated pros, e'eryone has their own insight and opinion). It states how one, through this power can also become greedy and perhaps lose loved ones...eternal suffering?

We, the Creatures of the Night: This was just very anonymous as the title itself states. It can be about the night kind, Gothics, Vampires/Vampyres, Witches, etc... I personally wrote this...after kind of meditating as I was a Vampire/Witch myself, anyhow I think it worked quite well.

The Necromancer: This is about a solitary Necromancer during the Prehistoric times - Dark times. I ne'er stated the time of this but that's up to you to decide, the mood of it suggests around the time of the Mad Arab. As you can tell, it is quite similar to the story of the Mad Arab himself.
