Alister Crowley wrote that Magick is the Art and Sience of causing change to occur in acordance whit will. Many other sources also speak of magick sort of taking over the life of the pracitioner, making everything magick. I guess my question is an old one and hopefully not one discussed to death on this forum, and if it are, pleese forgive me. Is everything magick, or is it somthing seperate?

I personaly belive that everything is magick, reality is magickal, how can not all in reality be the same, and all actions is magickal, the only differance beween working whit Energies during a ritual and brewing coffe is how obscure the pracsis is and if others considers it magick. But what do you pepole think?

Well this is an interesing question because you might think that scientists would tend not to believe in magick and not accept anything that couldn't be proven and sensed with the five senses but even some people that are very practical and logical are forced to believe that there are mysteries. I am one of those types lol

For me, I neither totally believe or disbelieve anything, I remain open to possibilities and even the things I believe in, I question periodically as I do for the things I feel I cannot believe in.

In some ways, because energy is connected with magick, we could say that everything is magick and affected by everthing else or we could just confine it to the results of deliberate actions to change things using magickal formulas and so on. There seems to be no really clear cut edge to this, but that makes it all the more interesting to me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I have Aspergers Syndrome, I kind of like clear cut edges, but I have found that magick simply dont have them, and its pracsis have opend my mind. There is alot in this world that will not let me tag them and put them in the correct boxses no matter how hard I try. And perhaps learning that is and inportant lesson for me.

IAt first i tried to have a clear cut of this is magick this is not, but after a while I noticed the lines starting to blur. I get a cold, both making warm tea whit honey, using nesal spray and doing a healing ritual work towards making me better and in a way are all magick. The same as I want a Playstation 3, dropping candy, saving my money and doing rituals for atracking riches will all work towards my goal of getting one and is all magick. I am starting to find it hard to make the hard lines between what is mundane and what is magick, and that might be a good thing.
