It's something I've heard hinted at (in the psi-vampire codex of all places) - the ability to enter other people's dreams.

Does anyone know anything about methods, possible signs of being "dreamwalked" or ways to combat it?

The value of an individual is not numerically assignable. Given the individual's infinite capacity to affect change (for better or for worse), it follows that their value is just as infinite. Logically then, not only are all individuals of equal value, but all possible combinations and groupings of individuals are of equal value, and finally, no matter an individual's past actions, their capacity to affect positive change is not diminished.

The value of the individual is sacrosanct, but actions must be directed in an effort to affect positive change.

I've actually been able to something similar to it which involved dream influence, on two occasions but the person was a very strong receptive telepath and I and him also had a strong connection, but here goes.

I got myself into a mild trance and wa slaying in bed before I myself would go to sleep, he was presumably asleep at the time and I just kept visualizing the dream I wanted him to have etc. and sending it to him. The next day he told me about the dream. This is really more like dream influencing but it's more useful than just being able to hop into other peoples regular dreams and does involve becoming involved in other dreams so why not.

That's a good start... I have someone I could try that on.

The delta symbol. Its cheap. Charge it. It acts like a barrier. Dream catchers will "catch" negative influences and keep them from influencing your dreams. A crystal of your liking charged with the intent of protecting your dreams and then keep it under your pillow. I can't remeber which ones exactly but certain characters of ogham can be scratched onto a peice of bark from its corresponding tree and kept near you while you sleep. Runes, again can't remember specificly but a simple visualization while holding a rune stone specific to dreams and then visualize a gate closing, to symbolize keeping out negative or any influences with the rune stone engraved above the gate. Or find a smooth rock and carve into it the rune. While carving it keep you intentions for dream protection in mind. keep it near you while you sleep. You could also use the rune or ogham character in candle magick. Take a candle that corresponds to dreaming, they're cheap at occult stores. Hold the candle and say something that articulates your desire, carve the symbol into it and onoint the candle with some nature oil (i'm sure you have some sort cooking oil somewhere in the house). Light it and meditate by it for a like five to 15 minutes. You can create a "ward". With clay, bees wax, natural gum- like tree sap, some natural, moldable substance and form it into a face, or dragon, gargoyle or what ever you wish. Tie a red string around it to symbolize its life. You might carve said characters or add other dream related elements to give it a greater charge. Set it like on your dresser and it will do its job. You can also vizualize such a creation, either during meditation, or a lucid dreams. You can ask for protection during astral projection. You can create a sigil and charge it on a penticle by beating it with you hand, staff, wand, scourge. Keep it under your pillow.

Thats a start.

As for "dreamwalking" thats a type of pathworking ritual. Its best done with a person who is aware and willing. Both of you create a ritual path you follow within lucid dreams to meet each other. You do this by agreeing on a visualization that will be completed in a lucid dream. This visualization should include a starting point, of your own descriptionboth and a uniform path, like a yellow brick road. That path should lead to one area that both of you know of. It can be a real place or one made up, just as long as the two of you are thinking of the same place. A picture refference is very useful. You can include various other cerimonial aspects- use candles, Ritualistially prepare yourselves, cast a circle call watch towers. yadda yadda. It all serves to solidify your intentions. Fall asleep at approximently the same time, prefferabbly in the same location, holding hands if possible. Invoke the lucid dream and follow the ritual path you created while awake. The stronger the emotional attatchment between you and your partner the more likely it will happen. Once you enter a lucid dream and follow the pathworking excersice and enter the area you both created be carefull to not try to influence the surroundings too much, at least not until you gain some practice. This increases the chances that you will lose lucidity or wake up. Get a baring on your senses then look for your partner. Start small and end big. Try to converse between eachother. Its best to not question if the experience is real or not and save that for after the ritual when you are both awake. Once you can comfortablly talk to eachother you can attempt a wide variety of things -from psychic healing to telepathy. Sex to sparing. Shapeshifting to merging. Even send eachother imagry or create imagry within the dream. All kinds of good stuff. If you feel yourself fade into uncounsousness or think you're about to wake up or simply had enough try to make sure you go back through the path you came from and end at the starting point. This serves to make a mental note that you are within your own dream so that none of your mental energies will be carried over with your partner. This can be corrected while by simply visuallizing a stream of psychic energy that you diffine as yours entering back into your body.

Don't be discouraged if this doesn't work at first. Practice practice the more you do the better you'll get the greater the results will be.

To enter somebody's dreams without them knowing or you telling them but its you who's completing the exsercise create a similar pathworking ritual while awake. Only this time the spot you will meet your "partner" is within them. You'll also need a way to connect to this person. An item of theirs that is personal. An emotional attachment, even hatred, can also serve, in addition to an item, as a conduit into another person's dreamscape. The item in hand will give you an empathic way to "know" the person you attempting to connect with. Invoke a lucid dream and follow your pathworking ritual. When it is time follow the path back out. What you can do within anothers skull is something I leave for you to figure out. Use wisely.

Oh and be sure to record what you expereince in as much detail as possible. Drawing/painting pictures also work very well.
