Ya know, usually this is the part where I elaborate and then relate it to myself somehow by using my own experiences as an example, but this time, I say "No."
Try to work with what I gave you. I don't mean to be @$$holish about it, I just don't feel ready to share the details of my particular case yet. If you want the general outlay of what to apply, I gave a little outline to work with, like:
QUOTE
Hey everyone. After some thought, there was a realization that others out there too, may be experiencing the same soul-loss/disconnection phenomenon from magick that I am. So, I wanted to start a thread in the B.M.S. Board so that we all can pool together our strategies. Community, folks!
Anyhow, not all strategies work for everyone. So, with this in mind, this thread would serve as a pool of ideas that one could pick and choose whatever strategy (or plural) is/are applicable, and then get themselves out of a rut.
In the case one becomes desensitized to the greater power of the universe, and/or feels disconnected, what are some general things/excercises to resensitize their sense of aliveness within magick, general empathy to energies, and sense of stability? Another question to consider: Is it sometimes an issue of external, not just internal turmoil?
All discussion appreciated!
Sometimes beginners (or even intermediates!) can trip, fall, and get back up without acknowledging their bones are broken. Even then, the wounds must still be mended no matter how stoic one chooses to be. This is the spirit of the philosophy behind this thread!
Enjoy, folks.
This post right here. If it doesn't work... well, we will soon see. But try to work it out. I'm a little tired of putting myself out on a limb for answers. I figure the answers should come to me for a change, since I put so much effort to go so far. After all, "for every action, there is an equal reaction!"
So, for this, I honestly feel tired of revealing so much. Try to use your intuition to fill in the blanks here. Isn't that what magick is for? (IMG:
