First off this is not spell-begging. Merely a beginner wondering if experiences he’s had might be something more than just his mind playing tricks on him. I have a couple of questions regarding the extra senses that I have been hearing about and, being new to sorcery and everything herein, I am curious whether or not the things I am about to describe are anything special, or anything at all. Most of them I can describe using simple physiological responses. However I do have to ask myself if they are indeed something and that I am just pushing them off as being imagined. The main problem I guess would be my inexperience with the craft however philosophical I may have been in the past. The first of these feelings or experiences that I am curious of, is something I have to this point classified as a neurological phenomenon that results from the bodies electrical system sending out a discharge of pent up energy. That would be the basic description. What happens when such an experience takes place is basically sent from working the back muscles, to get too descriptive here would be rather difficult because I am not exactly positive how it works, sometimes I can do it other times I cant, the main muscles in use are the shoulders and middle upper back, and the lowest back muscles. The result of enducing this reaction is basically the same as what I could call, “getting a chill” a surge of feeling is sent out from the back to other areas of the body, all except for the head and torso( the back is the exception). A visible physical response to this is the hair on whatever limb that it goes to will stand on end then sit back down after the surge passes. The only available example of how I think it might work, and I do emphasis the word think, is something similar to that of the electric eel. I have worked with this for some years now and have found that I know very little about how to develop or really control when this energy is stored and can be released. The next one has to do with sight. I won’t try and pretend that my sight is 20/20, to be honest one eye is close and the other is 20/400, however I have done the best I can to help learn to focus my eyes at will, and have had an innate ability to do so since I was a small child. The question I have on this is, I can get my eyes to a certain point were it seems I can see the air particles and the movement of them, not movements as in wind, but see the air itself. The other aspect of this aspect of my vision, is that when I focus on an object, normally a person, but many inanimate objects as well, it seems as there is a fine invisible line that becomes visible between the air itself and the object, sometimes I think that it is possible that I am seeing colors with this but that is something that I don’t know yet, it is difficult to tell, sometimes it could be a color around it that is messing with me, or a glare of light on the object. This may not make much sense but this is still relatively new to me as in the past few years only, and I haven’t worked with it that much, but it is just a simple question I have. I am definitely not well versed in the meanings of many things, or in what abilities are or how to tell when you are using them. However any help for the questions I have posted would help inform me of where my progression level is on some planes. Thanks in advance for the help. -Magus2500x

yes, while I was in school I did that as well, however I was to ignorant of what it could mean. The main thing I was curious about was the "chill" that can be forced upon the body, I know how to cause it, but it seems a reaction based ability rather than a concious choice to have it. For instance, I can lightly run my fingers along the little hairs on my upper back between my shoulderblades, and it allows to build up the "charge" that I have learned to release. The question is, does this have any bases in the metaphysical world, or is it just a physical reaction, it memics a cat or dog getting frightened and the hair on the back of its neck standing on end. Animals are naturally magickally atuned more so than the average humanoid, however is this a channeling of energy that is normally only brought upon by the feeling of flight or danger? -Magus2500x

I have pondered much on my first post about the "energized" feeling that I had described, it seems to me that on thinking a great deal about it and observing more of what it is a natural response to, I have found that it may be the bodies natural response to sudden changes, or things that may startle or eritate the body, such as nails on a chalk board to most people, in further thought i find that it may be possible that this could be a bodily release of energy that could be quite possibly magickal in nature but simply a natural reaction or defense if you will of the body. Whether this is a built up energy I do not know, I am still experimenting with it, and have found my own ways to "force" the feeling in an enclosed environment, If anyone else is curious about this study, and has had experiences with this please help out, practice with focusing on storing this energy rather than releasing it, I have found that there is a feeling that comes through the body that is a breif warning of sorts that it is comming and that there is a way to keep from releasing this "energy" to the other extremeties of the body namely being the limbs and the majority of the back. The only perplexing thing I find in this is that from some of the things that I have read and looked through and studied the ones that make the most sense are saying that the energy is stored in the naval region, however this feeling feels more like the mid back is the origin and center of the area, and the release is the surge of it being sent up and out through the center of the shoulder blade area. however I will reiderate that I am just truely starting my research and study of this phenomenon, again any input into this will help further the knowledge for all. -Magus2500x

The first feeling is your chi, or vital energy. Nails on a chalkboard causes the same feeling because your energy rushes to meet whatever threat startled you. Chi regulates all sorts of things in the body, including adrenaline. Look into Qi Gong and I think you'll find some exciting validation to your experiments.
The second experience is the beginnings of heightened psychic visual perceptions. You don't really need your eyes opened to do it, we just start of conditioned to beleive that we must have our eyes opened to see - true for physical eyes, not true for the ones you're utilizing. There are a million methods of seeing auras - however, you can learn to see auras without your physical eyes, so they are only a conduit for the ability, a catalyst of a physical and familiar nature.
