"Always work with an open hand; for to point a finger in any direction yeilds three fingers pointing back, and a closed fist brings the fourth to your own doom as well."

It just came to me randomly as I was meandering about the house. I thought about the fist thing, and I figured that each of the four fingers could, in a metaphorical sense, correlate to the four elements. This works in this case because the point I wanted to drive home was the following:

• That the threefold law of return could always be at play, especially when you least expect it. This is defined by how our finger could direct energy (a la LBRP, for instance), and that any negativity could figure three times the output by our clenched fingers folding back towards us.
• That an open hand could accomplish more than a closed fist, mechanically and magickally.
• To have all four elements against you in any instance at any time usually means you fScked up pretty badly.
• Make sure there is harmony in all things you do. The open hand does not destroy, but it gives, receives, reciprocates, creates, and admonishes.
• The closed fist only obliterates.
