Headless Guy Options

So this morning I was dreaming I can't remember what,but I remember that the dream abruptly changed and suddenly I was out in the desert.Next thing I know there's this rather tall fellow standing in front of me,beckoning.He carried a golden staff,wore blue robes with a golden snake design and had no head.Then I felt myself trying to AP,though I didn't really get anywhere with that,haven't quite got the hang of it yet.

Normally my dreams are just filled with the flotsam and jetsam of what I've been up to that day,naturally I don't have many associations with headless people so this dream has piqued my curiosity.

I dunno,anybody know any headless spirits?Or is it probably just another of those damn symbols that dreams are full of? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Desserts are vast open and empty land scapes. You were alone and so I'd imagine the theme was loneliness. Maybe even introspection into yourself.

Next thing I know there's this rather tall fellow standing in front of me,beckoning.He carried a golden staff,wore blue robes with a golden snake design and had no head.Then I felt myself trying to AP,though I didn't really get anywhere with that,haven't quite got the hang of it yet.

Maybe the man was holding a cauduceus. The color scheme of yellow and blue could mean the man was some kind of healer. The fact that he was headless could mean its a guy you don't know. It could also mean a clear lack of ego, selflessness as the head can symbolize ego. Trying to AP away from the guy implies you were troubled by him and tried to get away. But you didn't succeed in fleeing. What this guy represents, whatever it is, is something you cannot escape from.

The over all meaning of the dream is unclear to me. But the implications of isolation in a dessert representing loneliness and the healer figure all to me imply that you are some how lonely or somehow not satisfied. Maybe find some new friends?

On the other hand perhaps you really did astral project, percieving the astral plains is a lot like dreams, and you met some kind of spirit. But I think my first aswer is more accurate.

Hm,I am going through a little bit of lonlieness at the moment - stuck at home for a month waiting for uni to start,but apart from that I'm pretty satisfied with things.Cheers for the insight,though I've still no idea what this was about either.

Not unless you're lucid because during normal subconcsious sleeping you're not really paying attention until after the fact. But when you are lucid you can find qualitites that can only exist within yourself and if you're really in the astral planes then things tend to be more random and externalized.
