it is so good to know that i am not the only nut out there looking off the figurative beaten path for new ways and means of spirituality
as for the latest group:
27 people in the group
10 didn't get it at all (pathetic idiots looking for a shortcut to physical enlightenment/power/ascension)
10 disagreed with it on principle (unwilling to take on new ideas outside the mainstream)
5 understood it but disagreed with it because it conflicted with their beliefs (close-minded)
2 actually got it and understood (open to new things)

look at a patch of green grass
look at it from afar, then from closer, then sit in it, then lay down in it, then lay completely down in it and even bury your face in it
despite looking at all the details, and from every angle, there is still an invisible world below the ground full of interconnected roots weaving the grass plants together, one that you can never see from the world of the grass - now look at people, are there roots below the surface world? - are those roots compassion?
