Hi everyone (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I did type up an introduction just a moment ago, but by trying to spell-check it seems I deleted it, lol. I'm not good with technology at all!

I just thought that I'd make a quick introduction and say hello to everyone. I've actually been registered for a long while, but I was pretty young back when I first registered and I can't remember even posting, and then I forgot I even had the account at all! In all honesty I preferred to just read the topics and posts by other members, and the older I became the shier I became too, so I never really worked up the courage to post myself. I thought the best place to begin would be with an introduction and a hello to everyone (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I do hope I've posted my introduction in the right place, my apologies if I haven't!

I've been interested in the 'occult' - for want of a better term - for as long as I can remember. I have a particular talent for palmistry, and an interest in tarot, dream interpretation, evocations and spirits in general. I'm hoping that by spending some time on this forum with such knowledgeable people that I can learn about new and different areas, and hopefully expand my knowledge in those areas that I am already familiar with.

Happy New Years to you all, too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I hope that 2011 brings you all the best.

Hello! Welcome! Though I suppose you've been here a while already. ;-) Glad you've decided to begin posting! Hurrah for courage!

You'll have to share your knowledge of palmistry...this is one of the many areas I know absolutely nothing about. I'm sure you'll have a lot of other stuff to contribute as well.

Btw...your screen name reminds me of "Ragged Robin" from The Invisibles graphic novel. Ever heard of it?

Peace!

"It sometimes strikes me that the whole of science is a piece of impudence; that nature can afford to ignore our impertinent interference. If our monkey mischief should ever reach the point of blowing up the earth by decomposing an atom, and even annihilated the sun himself, I cannot really suppose that the universe would turn a hair.” --- Aleister Crowley

“We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the Universe. That makes us something very special."
--- Stephen Hawking

Therefore, God is a monkey.

Welcome Robin or perhaps hurrah for working up to posting. Don't be too self critical or self-conscious about posting. If you have a thought and it seems reasonable, share it. If you have a question, perhaps others might have the same question.

Don't worry. It'll only seem kinky the first time.

Thank you, Goibniu and Monkman418 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It's nice that you're both so supportive, I'll try my best to contribute to the forum too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

And sure thing, Monkman. I'll be sure to check out the palmistry section of the forum later on, it'll be interesting to speak to other people about the subject and see what kind of topics are going on in there. I've always adored palmistry, I've been practising for as long as I can remember, but the only thing that frustrates me is that although I can read other people's palms quite well I can never seem to read my own, which is a little frustrating when you can see other people's paths and your own is a blank, lol. And no, I've not heard of those graphic novels, but I'll be sure to look them up when I get a spare moment, I always enjoy finding new novels and graphic novels to read (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thank you both again for taking the time to reply and welcome me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
