Getting Started WIth Necronomicon, Question and Answers / Ask here Options

Does the paradigm revealed through the Necronomicon offer one a "path" for a practitioner to walk that is akin to pursuring The Great Work?

If so:

What is it?
What is happens to a practitioner while engaging it?
What is the results from a practitioner completing it?


I ask that question (and the collaries) because I suspect that more exists with regard to dealing with the various Powers referenced in that book - beyond merely calling up Elder Gods and other sundry entities for the sake of satisfying mundane desires.

Since I want to begin Nec work soon I would like some advice on optional tools used in other people's early stages with Nec work.  Even though I'am looking for tools I guess I will wait for the time being since I'am broke, and I like Ashnook's post in occult forums about how the right time will come when your ready(Damn dude your a great writer).  So any suggestions is appreciated.

All you need is a strong will and the Necronomicon picks its own. Many have tried to discredit the book only to find out how powerful the magick really can be. I represent my mighty MOTHER HUBUR, so let the book guide you.

The book will guide you in your journey and point you in the right direction when you begin working with it. For starters, you should obtain a dagger that you use specifically with the Necronomicon, create the four directional gates (North, south, east, and west) tablets (you can use posterboard), and the amulet on page eleven (cardboard and a silver pen do wonders here). Beyond that, you will be guided to the other tools when you are ready. They will not fall in your lap though, so you will have to be active in pursuing them...just dont fret when you cant find all of them at once lol.
